If so, what pitching machine do you recommend?

I want one where you can see something like the arm motion so you have an idea of timing of the pitch. I also want gravity self feed reload.

costs like 8 grand to set one up so I doubt too many sherdoggers have one. the one you are referring to probably costs double that amount.

The equipment manager at my college was a buddy of mine, and the baseball team had an awesome pitching machine with a huge hopper on top. Practical jokes were how we passed the time, so we'd lure friends into one of the gymnasiums, and then pelt them with tennis balls at full speed. Extra points if you hit them in the nuts. Thar's how it started. Then we found a long extension cord, and would set that machine up all over campus. If there was an outlet available, you were not safe. It was a lot like Jackass, before Jackass was a thing.

We waited outside of a friend's dorm room with the machine ready to go. Surprisingly people walked right by without asking what we were doing. We waited patiently until he left his room for food, and then we unleashed on him like Arnold with the Minigun in T2. We must've hit him with 50 tennis balls going 100mph down the corridor. I never laughed so hard in my life.

Goddamn those were better times.

What were you asking?

I suggest getting a man-servant instead. More versatile for sure.

For that kind of money you can equip a state-of-the-art home gym, even if you go for all Rogue equipment. State of the fucking art

that looks like a shitty one

the one OP is referring to sound like the ones they use at batting cages that are self fed

they probably cost more than this one

This one I linked is an automatic feeder. It's on a timer and can send out about a dozen balls before a reload. I'm just saying that a feeder isn't a terribly complicated machine and you can find plenty of options for a reasonable price range that's well under the $8k to $16k price range you suggested as the only options.

Do they all have some blinking light or something to indicate when the pitch is coming?
