Food & Drink Anyone get messed up when taking caffeine?

Put some muscle on — weightlifting makes your Central nervous system stronger you will eat vyvanse and caffeine pills all day without getting shaky
 
Coffee has a half life of about 5-6 hours, which means there is still about 1/4 of it still in your system even if you stop drinking 10-12 hours before bed. Tip, if you want to speed up the metabolism of it you should try smoking which cuts it in half.

I don't drink coffee or anything with caffeine. My body's just not used to it, I guess. So every time I get a little bit of it, I can't sleep.
 
I only drink it when i need to stay up late for a reason. I dont have it daily so when i drink and over do it it does not stop me from sleeping.
 
Never could figure out the energy drink thing. All the ones I’ve ever tried tasted like shit.
they taste like shit, but you gotta decide on which flavor of shit you prefer.

a lot of energy drinks, the sugar free ones anyway (what i drink), try to compensate for lack of sugar with artificial sweetener. its always disgusting. but the white monster ultra? total chemical taste and i love it. i will drink that until my death.

But, I think Dunkin' changed their iced coffee recipe because that shit makes me fucking speed my face off now. It didn't used to do that.
 
I usually have to stop the caffeine at 6pm but I am a heavy coffee drinker from 5am to 6pm.

I know a guy who can drink 3 espresso shots and be asleep 20 minutes later. It’s not a good thing.

It makes sense that he would fall asleep though. 20 minutes before sleep, the adenosine receptors are already quite saturated with adenosine. Once the adenosine is already bound to the receptor, there isn't much you can do to stay awake.

Yea I don't think thats entirely true.
 
I can do 150-190 mg of caffeine and be fine. Any more or less than that and I start detoxing the very next morning.

me either, and it makes my face flush. I drink lots of caffeine but those always have other stuff in them.

I heard of a youtuber who died of a heart attack during sex and one of the reasons given was he was drinking too much of those energy drinks.

i think that's what happens when you drink to much of it, it seems as though caffeine often has no effect on me these days, I've always drank a lot and I'm older, so, maybe whatever it takes out of the system inside isn't there in as much amount.

I read yesterday that Sly Stallone drank an insane amount of coffee to lose weight for Rocky 3, got down to an unbelievable -3 percent bodyfat, had trouble with his memory he lost so much weight.

Caffeine is nice but it's not as harmless as some of us think, I know I'm high strung by nature and caffeine isn't always good for that. I also had a panic attack that sent me to the er one time and so I stopped drinking as much caffeine and I don't have that problem anymore.

Most over use caffeine,There’s a science to it and a time period when to reload it in the day or night .

I think so too, I think I drink too much and it makes it useless. Still, I don't drink nearly as much as I used to so I think a part of it is just getting older and flatter. Same reason workouts are more sluggish.
