Anyone find it funny that professional fighters fly coach on Southwest Airlines?

Every UFC embedded series I have seen the fighters, even the champions are flying on southwest Airlines LOL. Considering that the company just sold for 4 billion dollars I find that fact to be both sad and freaking hilarious. Forget that most of these guys live in homes most people working at Best Buy can afford... Southwest Airlines??? Isn't that like one step above public transportation?

I work for a much larger company and I always fly coach as well when I'm sent on a business trip. Its pretty normal and not that unusual. Fighters and their team gets free flights, they also get free hotels, and free rides. Theres hundreds upon hundreds of fighters coming in and out of the UFC.... why would you be flying them all business or first class ? Also why would any fighter really give a shit?

In summary though, no its not unsual or weird. Its very normal.

Also lets be honest here, plenty of top level fighters have flown on private UFC jets, have flown first class or business class, or at the very least can afford a ticket upgrade if they want to. Lets not blow it out of proportion and act like its some huge travesty that you sat in couch on your FREE flight lol.

I've flown predominantly southwest airlines for work for 8.5 years. Around 30 flights a year. I honestly do not understand the gate they get.

Hotels , flights, and rides are always paid for. As well as many other things that never get mentioned.

I agree though, theres nothing wrong or bad about sitting coach on a flight.

Nope. Southwest is the most consistently on time airline and only have coach. Just makes good sense to me
