anyone ever lose a finger nail?

is there any reason i shouldnt be training right now?

yes yes i know, ask a dr. i did, they dont really get bjj and whats involved often times their opinion isnt very good.

supposedly if it gets hit while its growing back it can become, i dunno, impacted?
in grown?

any experience with this?

lost a toe nail last year. just make sure the nail bed is not exposed when you are training as it may become infected. treat it like you would treat any wound, disinfect the area before and after rolling and bandage it up. regrowth should not be a problem, the nail bed will be covered by a thin nail within a couple of weeks.

I've lost a toenail before, too. I didn't have any problems with it while it grew back. Keep the thing clean, though, and use neosporin every day to kill any germs.

Yup. Grows right back, no problemo.

lost two toenails, one pushed off and the other broke when my toe broke in MT...a little neosporin, some gauze and tape and right back at it.
