Anyone else think that Chuck Liddel might be thinking of coming out of retirement?

Wouldn't be unheard of. He has taken several jabs at Jon jones and claims jon couldnt have hurt him.
kinda odd that he would insert himself into the picture unless maybe he was thinking of stepping up if daniel cannot finish the job. 46 is really old for combat sports.

maybe he's been playing too many video games.

Please no, huge Chuck fan here, but he wouldn't last against the mid to low tier fighters at LHW let alone Jones.

I can't even think of a decent opponent for him at this point. I literally can't name a 205er I think he could beat

It would make a nice case study of whether a chin can recover after half a decade

My guess is no, but fk it let the man try if he wants

Funny I was thinking the same thing. Really that's what took him out of the game. I dunno if his chin failed or mma stiking just got better over time and his style betrayed him. You notice he always has his hands down. Also, chuck doesnt really roll with punches he just eats them. Most anyone at 205 work knock him clean out in the first round at this point.

Chuck vs CM Punk at UFC 200. Make it happen Dana!

Actually don't, it would be a terrible day for MMA if Punk threw a sloppy punch and Chuck's chin couldn't hold up.

I think the reality is that if he made a comeback he'd be taking on someone line Te Huna. He's nowhere near Jones' level.
