It seems like Ufc events have patterns where one event will be all knockouts and finishes while the next will be all decisions like tonight.

I seem to notice this happens often what you guys think?

It depends on when dana gives his "do you want to be a fucking fighter?" Speech backstage. If he gives the speech, the event is all finishes. If he doesn't, then the whole event is decisions.
