Anyone else hoping against hope Eddie somehow doesn't fight RDA next?

I personally wish they would throw T Ferg in there instead if he beats Khabib next month ..

Getting your ass whooped by Cowboy then dropping two split decisions, shouldn't warrant you a title shot imo but hey there's been worse title fights made I guess aka Gus coming off of a loss to AJ & getting a fight with Cormier after

Still, I'm just not very keen on the idea of RDA v Alvarez at UFC 200 and its not just because I'm a Ferguson fan, I genuinely do not wish to see the bullshit ass fight Eddie vs Dos Anjos would be!

What about you guys? Anyone out there actually want to see Eddie fight for the belt next or not? and if not who would you rather see fight RDA at UFC 200 ?

The winner of Khabib vs Ferguson should challenge RDA next. But actually the UFC will probably somehow give Conor the next shot.

Is that fight rumored? I hadn't heard about it but yeah, I'm with you. Alvarez hasn't won a single fight on my cards in the UFC

I mean, I wouldn't mind it if it were booked for ufc 200 or something, Khabib/Ferguson would be next in line without question.

Your rationale is stupid considering he won both decisions. Just because you think he should have lost doesn't eliminate that. He has the best claim at the moment in terms of competition.

Alvarez/RDA could happen at 200, or a Fox event in July (no idea when the next big Fox event is after Ferguson/Khabib.)

More than likely, the winner of Ferguson/Khabib is going to get pretty beaten up from a grueling fight. They'll probably need some time off.

Yeah, I'm not big on that one. He doesn't seem worthy. RDA would probably be a 10-1 favorite.

A lot of times when they win a split not drop it its due to fighting a tough ass dude. I guess sense he won by split against Pettis he sucks since Pettis is such a pussy and he sucks even though he did beat Cowboy you know. If it was as easy to finish somebody as people make it sound on here everybody would be on Concussion suspension but its just not that simple.

To answer your question that you said you don't want to see a fight unless your guy is in it means your not really a fight fan you are a casual clinger

I really like Alvarez. Yeah his last one was a stinker, but he knew he couldn't outstrike Pettis, he did what he had to. That game plan wouldn't work against RDA and I'm sure it would be a barn burner.

they weren't great performances but if beating Giblert and Pettis consecutively doesn't warrant a title shot I don't know what does?

a win over Dennis Siver perhaps
