Rewatched the fight.

In terms of shots landed, guaranteed Nate pointed him.

Mcgregor landed a few bombs, arguably more 'damage'(whatever the fuck that means). But that cut makes it look a lot worse than it actually was.

IMO, Mcgregor really looked sharp in the first 90 seconds of the second round. You know, till he got KO'ed on his feet.

I did. Basically even striking, Nate scored a TD and Conor grabbed the fence to save his bum life.

For sure Diaz won the first, his boxing was more effective + the TD, I knew the finish was going to be soon after seeing how much better Nate's striking was.

Fight metric had McGregor landing more shots, AND he did far more damage in the first.

There's no way to score that round for Diaz.

The very first thing you should be scoring the round based on is "Effective striking". Who had more effective striking? McGregor landed a higher %, more total punches, and did more damage.

I had Nate winning. Conor was clearly the one that did more damage but Nate was tagging him and Conor was missing a lot. Don't listen to Rogan and Mike Goldberg.

I felt Diaz won the first round but it was close. McGregor landed almost nothing in the 1st, even though Diaz got cut. Close round I would say but honestly, at the end I felt I would have given that round to Diaz.

I gave it to Conor but that had more to do with the cut like you said. He cut pretty quick, most likely due to not allowing his face heal completely from the MJ fight

Conor barely won the first. With the TD it could of been a draw. Conor fans had it 10-8. Rational people 10-9 or 10-10. Casuals are unaware of the Diaz bros scar tissue issue.
