Rumors coming out, Dana talking about being in negotiations, both parties wanting it. Theres too much money to be made here for all parties involved for this not to happen and to have Conor fight someone like Khabib or Tony.

Casuals dont care about it being a glorified boxing match as opposed to a legit MMA bout, they just know that its gonna be labeled as an UFC fight and that they're fighting in a cage.

I can't see Floyd's team being stupid enough to let it happen. He's already trained boxing with Kevin Lee. Surely all they will have to do is get him down there and say "do a proper MMA sparring session with him for 5 minutes" and after 1 minute of Floyd being beaten on and unable to defend himself, they'll cancel it.

Hope Conor doesn't agree to this, can't blame him due to the money to be made but from a fan's pov this Floyd business has already cost us a couple of Conor mma fights that likely would have happened had he not fought Floyd.

Also makes sense with Conor sitting out so long. He wants to make sure he doesn't lose a fight which would hurt his drawing power in the meantime.

Also there isn't much noise coming from him or the UFC as to him fighting Khabib next even though it would be huge. This supports the theory that he is trying to buy time.

However he can be the full time circus fighter now that he wants to be as far as I'm concerned. The title is gone and the division can move on. And he can chase his freak show fights.
