Anyone else feel like each fighter should get a timeout or something ?

Is the moderation on this forum arbitrary, or feelings based?

I'd also imagine certain fighters getting very good at cage climbing. So good that these fighters could land one punch to get an advantage, then spend the rest of the match evading their opponents on the cage. The entire match would be one high flying game of cat (leopard) and mouse (baboon). Wouldn't make for the most exciting fight, but sometimes that's just how it turns out in nature.

I like adding the risk of 75 foot falls! And the whole cage climbing and swinging aspect will bring in more parcours/free running type fighters so acrobatics now play a part!

What if there were light weapons stashed high up - like 50 feet high? "Oh, he's not resting - he's going for a weapon, Joe... he felt that power and he wants backup now... oh, but he's being followed - now it's up to the faster climber...." A fighter could even grab a weapon but then be pulled off the cage by his legs and plummet to his death, so every play has its commensurate risk.

Weapons would be light - padded clubs, padded sticks - things that can give an advantage but not break bones, basically. We are not savages and we aren't looking to to have our fighters compared to Roman gladiators. Just climbing, flipping, club-wielding MMA professionals. I'm really digging this!

Awesome idea, we can also have free throws any time a fighter is fouled. Kick in the nuts? Free punch to the head. Flagrants can be immediate DQ's. You're on to something TS.
