the 205 cut is brutal for him... wish he could eat better and drop those fried chicken.
I wouldn't be. God saved him from the wrath of a juiced Bones. He was sad
Excellent point, I've always thought the same about Uriah Hall as wellThis may be a false take, but i feel like DC always fights at the level of his opponent. From dominating Bigfoot and Barnett when no one believed he could, to then have uneventful fights and struggling a little bit with Nelson and Mir, when everyone thought he would maul right through them.. Apart from the slam, he took it VERY easy on Hendo before he decided to choke him out.
Had a competitive loss to the best version of Jon Jones ever, dominated Rumble, then had a frickin war with Gus for 25 minutes. 3 really dangerous guys.
And then looks like shit in a lesser opponent in Silva.
I think it's interesting. DC looks at this like straight up COMPETITION.
Yeah! that week was probably stressful as shit for him. Not to mention that Anderson kick probably knock the wind out of himHe was on an emotional roller coaster. Took it's toll on him.
I agree and thought I heard him or someone close say the news and stress absolutely affected him since he was cutting at the time. But still 30-26. Aside from a devastating first round KO, DC was going to get criticism. It's really just an opportunity to turn some disappointment in a fallen hero over to someone else.I think the stress about Jones, replacement and the like was too much for him.
If he would face Jones like supposed I think he would look better.
DIdn't look like that at the end of the third.weight cut was messed up, had a hard time with it. but he could have done another 2 rounds easily and kept putting a beatdown on Silva
