Anyone coming to WKA this weekend?

My some team mates and coaches are there now. I'm curious as to how WKA is seen on this forum.

I did all the prefight physicals yesterday, and will be covering the tournament all day tomorrow. Should be a lot of fun. The fighters look to be in good shape. All the fights are pretty much Glory rules or Muay Thai rules.

I've seen two WKAs and have commented on it before. What strikes me (no pun intended) is a lot of the fights turn into "how many times can I hit the guy?", form and technique be damned. A small reason might be the Top Ten headgear they use, which really absorbs the impact allowing a less painful slugfest. I just noticed that a lot of fights lacked set-up, distancing, and overall technique. I can't quite put my finger on it, but would be curious to know what you think.

Tbh, I'm not sure any of the gear makes sense. Hook and loop gloves, kyokushin style shin guards, and the head gear. But I think the fighters do a decent job
