The entire show is ridiculous which gives it open license to be completely over the top and makes it fun to watch. Unlike some shows that try to be somewhat realistic Banshee starts in full over-the-top mode and never stops. I can't wait for the second season.

That! Wish they added more episodes. Adrenaline fuel shows are lacking these days.
 
Yeah I like the show!
I watched the first one based on the trailer and I like how it got straight in there with getting released from Prison and then fucking a random waitress!

Shoes you what the show is about,
I also agree with you that I liked how the MMA fighter was kicked his ass until he had to resort to dirty tactics and weapons! Because going in I thought that Lucas would just run through him and I'd find that lame!
 
That fight scene when the main actor fucked up that fighter, BRUTAL!

Season 2 is not as tight as the first season. It's lost some of the intrigue and mystique on what made the show so captivating. It's still entertaining though. But if Odette Annable gets truly naked (I'm pretty sure that was a body double at the end of episode 1), then it will be the best season ever. :D
 
I like season 2 so far, very entertaining and fun. Proctor is such a boss.
 
One of the best/most absurd aspects of this show is the ridiculous amounts of physical punishment that the characters receive, only to get better in the next scene with a few cuts and bruises.

I find it hilarious! I know this happens in almost all TV shows and movies, but this show takes it to preposterous levels.
 
After reading the comments, I think i'll have to give this show a try. I don't have much time these days but the comments have made me really curious.
 
One of my friends turned me on to this show last week...shocked it's not more popular.
