Silva will tap to a choke in round 2.
Looks like Silva had his reality check, and he's about to tool Weidman and break him on the feet.
Weidman's TDs in the second round didn't look too good.
What are you on about? Can you Articulate exactly how he looked " awful" on his feet ? He tagged Silva several times , displayed good head movement, slipped all of silvas punches and ate a few leg kicks. How exactly does this translate to looking awful? Because his mouth was open?
Diagnosis for you.......Classic case of projection and seeing what you want see.
I have nothing against Weidman, but I'd like to see Anderson regain the belt and then maybe go out on top, or take one more definite last fight with Jones.
Id prefer that. Silva winning tonight then retiring...it just feels a bit hasty. Id want either another defense or a Jones fight, then he can say fuck it. Doing it tonight looks like a feeble attempt to wash away his last hiccup.
Don't worry about it, it's fine.Weidman's cardio is an issue.

I'm with you on this one thought silva would ko weidman in the 1st fight by a knee when weidman shot in for a takedown . I see the fight going much like you described .I thought Silva was going to KO Weidman the first match and I'm still predicting he will.
If this match goes much similar to the first one I'm strongly confident that AS will hold that strap once again:
Weathers round 1.
Starts to get his TDD going as Weidman is a little more tired.
Keeps match standing.
After the third point, it's now in Anderson's hand to do what he does best and control the standup and not put himself in the most compromising position ever.
Projection is strong with you also. You are responding to something that I didn't even say.....making things up in your head and then refuting them.Have you ever trained any sort of standing combat?
Yes, Chris hit him. But the thing he did good was to keep distance. There is no way in hell he would have connected all of those strikes if Anderson didn't already mindfuck himself. At the KO combination he overextended, he stuck his chin out, telegraphed somewhat. Weidman had the basics of striking learnt and is good at it, but he is far from a great striker. And no, I am not a hater. Weidman is the only guy I would like to see hold the belt other than Andy.
