Health Anybody Get the Flu Recently?

Haven’t got it yet, most of my family have
I’m immunocompromised, but I never wear a mask or get the shots
Was on the bus earlier and some woman was coughing up a storm… so we’ll see

I was listening to NPR today and they said that here in Georgia, there's been 24 deaths from the Flu.
Not uncommon at all. First thing I did in March of 2020 was research number of deaths associated with influenza, and was blown away at how many people around the globe die from it, annually.

Now, the vast majority of these deaths are elderly people with comorbidities, the flu just tips them over the edge.

Got the flu shot maybe two months ago and still masking, so didn't really get sick and before COVID had a name, I probably had COVID and bought a bunch of cough drops and haven't really had to use them since didn't really get sore throat in that many years.

I did pre-emptively take zinc lozenges and gargle mouthwash the moment I felt like maybe sort throat was coming.

No cold for me so far, knock on wood. i infrequently develop colds anymore ever since I made it a point to eat healthy, dress warmly, and get some sun exposure, or UV light exposure a few times a week. I eat a paleo diet.

I read a fascinating book a few months ago about colds and the flu. Some of what was mentioned in the book wasn't new information to me, but there was some interesting mentions that was new about a bodies pH level has been found to influence cold symptoms.

Can You Catch A Cold?: Untold History & Human Experiments

The idea that the common cold and influenza are spread via coughing, sneezing, and physical contact has been firmly implanted in our minds since childhood. However, the results of human experiments cast doubt on this theory. Researchers have failed to consistently demonstrate contagion by exposing healthy people directly to sick people or their bodily fluids. These findings suggest that our understanding of infectious disease is incomplete and challenges the long-held belief that a cold or flu can be ‘caught’.

So, what might be causing these seasonal afflictions, and why do they appear to spread from person-to-person? Can You Catch A Cold? Untold History & Human Experiments answers these questions by delving into the historical records, investigating past pandemics, exploring human psychology, and reviewing more than 200 contagion studies. With over 1,000 citations, no stone has been left unturned in the pursuit of unravelling this age-old mystery.

"A contagion-free world restores trust in the human body, ease in relations, and meaning where there was random risk. Daniel's work represents the definitive text on the subject for anyone who is ready to break one of the deepest spells ever cast. He leaves no stone unturned, and his conclusions are based on the evidence so few have bothered to read. I am so grateful this book exists!"

"Occasionally in life a new book or lecture comes along that effectively changes the world. Such is the case with "Can you Catch a Cold". We all grew up under the delusion that colds and flu are something we catch, something caused by invisible demons for which we have no ability to sense or detect. As a result we live in fear, avoid our loved ones and basically just live in a kind of make-believe world. If you are tired of living in a make believe world read Daniel's book, you'll never see the world the same again".
- Dr Tom Cowan Author of The Contagion Myth

"Daniel has done it! He unearthed the buried research which gives the most definitive results available on contagion and germ theory. This may be the most important work on infectious disease since the microscope was first used to visualize microorganisms in diseased tissue. His impeccable reasoning and neutral approach to the subject puts the reader at ease as their understanding of health is turned upside down. I highly recommend this book and made it required reading for my home educated children".
- Dr Andrew Kaufman Forensic Psychiatrist

“The claim that colds and flu are contagious may be one of the greatest ever blunders of medical science. Prepare to be shocked as this book brilliantly brings to life the buried data that can no longer be ignored”.
- Dr Mark Bailey Co-author of The Final Pandemic

“An incredible, thorough exploration of history that will make you question everything you thought you knew about infectious diseases, health, and the human condition. This well-researched book, with over 1,000 references, provides valuable insights to help piece together the intricate puzzle of why we experience illness. A paradigm-shattering, must-read for those trying to determine the truth and acquire a healthier and happier life!”
- Roman Bystrianyk Co-author of Dissolving Illusions

“How many of us go through life claiming we know something without having ever given it any critical thought? Proverbs 18:3 says, ‘If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame’. Daniel set aside his ‘common knowledge’ to truly explore the premises and history surrounding contagion, and came out with a completely new outlook on the subject. Anyone interested in developing a richer understanding of this topic owes it to themselves to read this book”.

I was listening to NPR today and they said that here in Georgia, there's been 24 deaths from the Flu.
There are typically 10,000-50,000 deaths every year in America due to the flue. Normally 50,000,000 cases reported.

Except that year when they said there were less than a couple hundred cases.

ROFL.

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Caught the bug on New Years Eve. Had me on the toilet all day. Next day I ran a fever. Usual cough and runny nose shit. I feel better now

Had three volunteers call out in a row because they all woke up with sore throats after being fine the previous day. Crazy

How bout y’all?
I was sick most december. No fever but headache, sore throat and that caugh that wouldn‘t go away. I don‘t remember being sick this long, ever.

Look I'm all for examining new evidence and questioning paradigms, but this Dr Roytas character who wants to challenge germ theory in its entirety is a quack naturopath. We have plenty of evidence of transmissible viral pathogens and how they move through communities. The fact that people with weakened immune systems are more susceptible to viral transmission does not disprove germ theory.

Knock on wood, but i somehow managed to avoid the flu this entire year. (2025) I am almost 47 and didn't even get a flu shot. I also didn't get a butt probe my family doc sent a referral that called me like 5 times i refused to answer. Sorry, its one way, until i die. I know a lot of you Homosexuals won't understand.

My doctor is hot and has big tits, I ain't saying no if she wants to stick a finger up my butt.

Pretty sure I'm on the tail end right now, this thing doesn't want to end. Haven't felt 100% in like 10 days.

Stop putting your fingers in your nose, mouth and eyes like a bunch of children. Very rarely will bacteria and viruses get through your skin. It increases with an open wound but your skin is a fantastic barrier to the trillions of bacteria and viruses you come in contact with when touching any surface ever. However, your mucous membranes are highly susceptible.
