After the challenger does something incredibly dumb? Not to take away from his victory, he's won dominantly, but they always seem to do something that leads them to get KOd quickly and don't fight to their true advantage.

I know partly it's because Stipe takes their game away and has the power and speed to keep them honest. But I was watching his fights and:

Overeem stuns him and engages him on the ground for a fuckin guillotine??? We know how piss poor Overeem's bottom game is because he's been TKOd there like a million times, so why tf did he do that? Then he gets TKOd as is customary.

Werdum runs at him, chin in the sky, flailing arm punches. Gets knocked out.

JDS had some success with the leg kicks but kept backing up to the cage with his back parallel to the fence, zero head movement, no hands up, and ate punches until one hit I'm in the sweet spot. JDS does it alot, but he wasnt throwing on the exit like he usually does. He was just backing up lol.

And his ground game is very very good one - what's not good is your ability to use logic. He's been TKO'd there because he got rocked hard and doesn't have a good chin.

That's true, Stipe is scary and seems to just make dudes tense up recently.

I thought he did great against Werdum and made him desperate early. JDS seemed tentative and paid the price. Overeem looked like a bitch tbh lol.

I think Ngannou won't be pressured into turtling, though. But I can see it after Stipe doesn't give in to his style.

Not only do you look insecure and you look butthurt as shit cause I didn't mention Ngannou at all in the OP, but the only mistakes Arlovski and Overeem made was trading punches with Ngannou.

They didn't do insanely out of character things and get KTFOd.
