Social Anybody else hates winter?

Yeah, snow might be a pain in the arse but at least it looks good. It's...kind of romantic...something to get excited about...

Nothing about the UK Christmas period feels like Christmas to me. It just feels like bollocks. Not feeling it at all this year.

Yeah, my overseas friends post like Xmas Eve / Day walk photos where everything looks freezing cold, crisp, clean and 'Christmassy'. I go for an Xmas Eve / Day walk myself here in Wales and it feels like I'm walking on a wet, damp, miserable October evening at 1pm in the afternoon.

Winter is my favorite season. Hot ass weather blows. Your actions have to be much more deliberate. Any dumbass can run around and sleep on the beach when it's 90+ out. Winter doesn't forgive such dumbassery.

Winter's great. Summer's great. I don't really mind the cold, unless it's extremely windy. It also kind of sucks when it's over 100F in the Summer and you have to take a shower every time you come inside.

Every situation has its pros and cons. Embrace it. You're never going to make the universe work according to your desires.

Works better for people who have a job I guess, as the daily routine doesn’t change much with summer.

I love winter, but I live in Montana and it has some brutal winters. Sadly it's not enough to stem the flow of people moving here.

Winters here are fantastic, so nah. I love it. No bugs. You can wear a long sleeve without sweating your balls off. Less tourists. Perfect riding/sports weather. It’s 76f, slight breeze and clear blue skies.

I'm back in Florida now, loving winter. Midwest winters sucked. they were so depressing, I could hardly stand it. I did meet and know a few relatives that love midwest winter weather though. Freaks!

Moved from upper Eastern Coast in USA and hated how cold it could stay for weeks at a time. After it snowed, with the freezing temps, being stuck with it for day after day was common.

After seeing winters in the lower East Coast, snow was welcomed because it never remained on the ground for long. Now living centralized in NC, love the winter !

I remember living in Horley during a very cold winter, with snow, and the council refused to grit any of the pathways, despite the ice being an inch thick.

Falling on my arse was a daily during that time.
