Social Anybody else hates winter?

I hate winter, there's no worse weather, it's so cold... you don't hang out with friends much, the places to meet up, the beach, and people you don't know, plus you try to focus only on something related to work or studying (I'm finishing university, so that's the only good thing). I've noticed that those friendships you make on the spot or pass-by friendships tend to fade away. Also, visually, everything looks so dull compared to the summer. I can't wait for March-April to come so spring starts

I'm literally on a huge burnout which sucks cause i can't even use this time to full-on go with movies and music like i did before.

I didn’t before but I hate them now. Having a toddler in the cold winter kind of sucks. We would spend a couple of hours outside each day and not it’s down to just 20 to 30 minutes. Just too dang cold

The only parts I don't like are the lack of sunlight, since I liked to go outside and get a little vitamin D each day, and shoveling the snow in the driveway.

I don't mind the cold much since you can just put on more layers.

Been thinking about getting one of those red lights that give you health benefits as a substitute for sunlight

I hate it with a passion. Can't stand snow and the cold.

I enjoy it. Better than the triple digit summers. At least with the cold, I can dress up warm.

I don't mind it, I prefer really cold. Than really hot. Especially for sleeping.

I like winter but you just have to prepare for it ahead of time. Rain can fuck right off though.

Yeah, unless you're in Norway, Finland, or Sweden your winters are probably pretty mild compared to upper Midwest. Maybe eastern Russia could be like that.

I lived in Alberta for a long time so I got used to terrible winters with tons of snow. Now I've moved away and live in a place with way better weather, where it never snows, and I kind of miss it. I miss the atmosphere of long snowy nights and throwing my car around on icy roads. Don't miss having to clear my driveways though

My town just opened a brand new park with zip lines! I have to explain to my 3 year old 5 times a week why we can't go to the park after school.

I used to love the winter. I still love being outside when it's snowing. But my body hurts in the cold

I don't mind the cold, and I actually like snow, but nightfall coming at 5pm can fuck right the hell off. We've barely had any snow so far (just a light dusting the week before Thanksgiving), so I haven't even been able to enjoy one of the few things I like about winter .
