Guy was a force and a top p4p fighter during his peak. He will obviously always get shit on now that he lost a few because thats just how MMA fans operate regardless of what you did when you were at the top of your game.

With that being said hes lost 4 out of his last 5.....Its clear that it should be time to hang them up but has he commented on it yet?

He went the Marlon Sandro route.

TJ took his soul. That expression gets overused, but it really does apply to this situation. Dude has been done since the first TJ fight, the moment he got dropped. Never recovered.

He went the way of Big Rigg, Aldo, Weidman, Andy, Pettis, Gilbert, Hector and was an ex champ that never looked the same after they had to start supplying rando urines at 3AM in the morning.

He was already 33 fights into his career, so probably starting to decline already. Thats an especially high number of fights when you happen to have a brutal weight cut, too. He was going to fade soon anyways but running into a top P4P elite fighter in TJ certainly didnt help.

Look, I wouldnt bet any money at all that he is a life long clean athlete, but having said that what you are implying is kind of unfair.

Like I mentioned above:

33 fights is a huge amount of mileage. Most guys would be extremely lucky to stay at a high level for that long.

40 fights is a lot and imo his body broke down. Also he was never really beating world class guys except a older Faber. Fought another world class guy in his prime and got smacked around 2X. Now he is just a worn fighter

The first TJ fight happened a year before the UFC/USADA deal, the second just a month after it started.

Indeed, but that doesn't explain the fact he essentially went winless after USADA. We now know that TJ is an ELITE fighter and the loss was no Serra fluke, and that explains his two losses but not the rest. The reality could also be that he was on his way down and/or never was as good as Rogan hyped him up to be - looking back at even the guys he beat, like Faber and Wineland, just does not stack up well to the new gen bantamweight.

Well, he had "normal" losses after that, but those two were complete beatings. He got mauled twice and got stopped in the later rounds. This kind of fights ruin careers and destroy your confidence.

Chuck Liddek basically went winless after lossing to Rampage, its the fight game and guys literally fall out of there prime in a heart beat, its always been like this

It’s over for Henan.

Just enjoy the Futbol matches, your abulita tattoo and your extra terrestrial good looks.

He's had a lot of fights, but lets not forget that he finished Urijah Faber in less than a round like 4 months before getting smashed by TJ. His decline wasn't that sharp, the competition just got better.

He is in camp and might be coming back for a 140 catch weight fight.

His glory days are behind him, but he can still be a good gate keeper, although the playbook to beat him is now open
