Any word on Edson after the fight?

obviously soon but has anyone heard what his next move might be?

Potential drop to featherweight?

I move to 145 if possible would be cool but Edson is a big dude

the guy is huge for 155 and very lean -- if anything he should consider moving up to WW

not sure why people feel like moving down a weight class is somehow an advantage? sure he would be larger but would lose his speed advantage which is actually a bad trade off for someone like Edson
 
The guy is as ripped as I’ve ever seen a fighter be and he’s also tall for the division, I can’t see him dropping down. He is still relatively young, I expect him to fight in about 6 months, with somebody the likes of Gaethje, as they’re both coming off of high profile losses.

i think edson just doesnt want to do with that whole ufc scrumble and talk.
im really impressed by the personality of this guy.
he fucking takes every fight, never ducks contenders, shows up, gives his best, and just doesnt talk much.

im really impressed by barboza.

He's still a top LW and has the potential to beat any LW not named Khabib. He'll be back in the title race after winning 2-3 fights.

Edson is just an all around cool dude goes on about his business and just knocks guys out cold most of the time

They're teammtes so I’m a bit confused by the statement unless something was lost in translation.

he still has a solid few years left in his prime and he's still a top ten LW. he'll probably fight Lee or Gaethje early summer.
