I read IT in preparation for the film last year and have been addicted to King ever since. I read a couple of his books when I was younger(Desperartion, The Shining) but kind of just forgot about him. IT was just so amazing that I have been hooked. So far I have read

IT
Night Shift
Skeleton Crew
Different Seasons
Full Dark, No Stars
Joyland
Duma Key
Salems Lot

The only book I didn’t enjoy was Joyland. Currently working through 11/22/63 and it might be the best one yet.

Yup, have always been a fan...got a little commercialized as the years went on, but he is responsible for some of the best horror both written and film...

The Mist was a good movie, as was Delores Claiborne..

The Stand and Salems Lots are his best. I actually like Cell, but it came out before everyone was doing apocalypse stuff.

Got half way through the Dark Tower and couldn't continue

I read IT. I thought it was great when it was just a bunch of kids dicking around and getting bullied. The horror gimmick and all the adult stuff didn't work for me at all. I guess I should read Stand By Me

Salem's Lot was the first book I read of his. I loved how he described the town and all of the different characters.

It's called The Body. It's in a collection called Different Seasons. 3 of the 4 stories were turned into movies.

Apt Pupil is particularly good out of those stories. Shawshank is good but the movie is better. The Breathing Method is usually considered the weakest but I thought the club in that story was one of the coolest things King has ever written.

if you can find a copy, firestarter is a great book, but it was a limited edition. also check out the bachman books, particularly the running man,its nothing like the film but a great read.

Read Carrie, Christine and The Stand. His earlier stuff is best imo

I have a love/hate with King. I hate his writing style, I hate his endings, I hate most of his books. I absolutely love the Dark Tower.
