I am obsessed with stupidly spicy hot food. My tolerance would be labeled "insane" or "unfathomable" by most people. Last night something terrible happened though. I added a lot of Carolina reaper powder to my chili and once I was finished eating, I was met with the worst stomach pain I have ever felt. Like debilitating levels of pain, despite my mouth being completely fine while eating it. I had to eat myself sick with icecream to try and neutralize it.

I'm not sure if it was just because I had an empty stomach, if I have a bad ulcer, or some kind of fluke...Any spiceheads hear experience this? I'm craving spicy food bad right now but I'm scared.

Ive got spicy memes bro, here's a hot one right here.

i dont mind super spicy stuff. its just when you poop it out its even worse so its not worth it for me

I used to love ridiculously hot food, lately it would start burning my small intestine, like 1' above my bunghole. Its not the bunghole pain, but that toxic fire in the belly the next day. Never have gotten the ring of fire, Call me the Teflon Bung.

I only like naturally spicy foods. I don't like shit that's just hot for the sake of hot.

I have never not even once had problems of any kind the next day. No butthole lava. Dunno.

Never really had any stomach problems either, but last night was EXCRUCIATING.

I like it for the taste, and after a while your tolerance gets to a certain point and the thought of eating certain foods with out extreme heat just seems bland.

Yup. I eats lots of hot stuff....bland food is the absolute worst.

You're not as spice "insane" or "unfathomable" as you think.

But by all means, dismiss the experience and change nothing, that always works

one experience out of the thousands and thousands of times I've eaten very spicy food? And I've never met someone that can eat food even half as hot as I enjoy it. My mouth was fine, but for some reason my stomach was not this one time. You seem personally offended that I enjoy really spicy food. if it continues to happen then obviously there is a problem I need to address like a stomach ulcer. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced a fluke incident like this.

Dis here is my type of spice.

Just because you cant tolerate or dont understand people that enjoy hot food doesnt mean you have to be an ass

I point out the obvious about your spice tolerance, that must mean I have no tolerance and don't like spicy food. Even though that makes no sense.More great work by that intelligent mind of yours.

Bro the bung burn can be unreal.

I ate a raw habanero and a few weeks later ate a raw hybrid scorpion/habanero.

It was bad. Lol.

You seem to really struggle with the fact that I said this is the first time its ever happened, out of thousands of times eating really hot food.

I was like you in my college days. My local grocery store would stock scotch bonnet peppers and I would cut them up and put them in every single meal I had. Hot pepper pizza, hot pepper mac n cheese, hot peppers and steak, etc. I went to a big city to get ghost peppers and I loved the extra heat, but I would notice that if I didnt have a big meal with the peppers I would get about 20 mins of stomach pain. It wasnt too bad but kinda like you are sick, knots in your stomach and about to spend an hour on the toilet. Ghost pepper pizza was the best.

Then I found a store that stocked scorpion peppers, and that was the day I fucked up. I bought the peppers, and I was still feeling invincible since I could handle ghost peppers, so I just took the biggest scorpion pepper and ate it. No meal, just the pepper. After 3 mins or so my legs and arms became tingly and I couldnt feel them, it was like laughing gas but twice as strong. After a few more minutes I felt delerious and stumpled away as quick as I could to the fridge to sooth the pain with yogurt. It couldnt have been more than a minute until the pain hit my stomach, and it felt nothing short of being the victim of an Alien movie. I spent 2 hours in the fetal position.

Since then I never ate anything hotter than a ghost pepper. Well I tried some reaper powder but only small doses. These days I dont eat much spicy food besides the standard cayenne sauce I put on chicken.
