Any Shotokan Karate stylist in full contact Kickboxing?

The highlights prove this isn't continuous fighting. This is completely different from Kickboxing. What sets Kickboxing apart is the requirement for having to deal with constant pressure of striking attack and back/forth exchanges. The punch defense here is pretty much non existent.

MMA is continous fighting too. And Machida faced strikers there like the Kyokushin Karateka Sam Greco.

It also has takedowns and different variables that influence striking. MMA is not the same sport as Kickboxing.

Again, if you didn't notice this is in the Muay Thai and Kickboxing forum and the thread title that you created clearly asks about Shotokan in Kickboxing.

There really isn't any good ones in Kickboxing, that is just the reality I'm sorry if you don't like that answer.

There's also a stand-up element, and Sam Greco wasn't able to do anything to Machida in that department. We can extrapolate interesting data from these isolated parts of MMA when he faced high level strikers.

Correction: there are None shotokan dudes. NOT bad, not good, none.

I can extrapolate that Machida would get cornered, get his legs lit up and fold in a legit Kickboxing match against a top fighter. But that's just extrapolating, so clearly their isn't anything left to talk about here.

It makes no sense why Shotokan would work as a stand-up base in MMA, against strikers, but not in Kickboxing against strikers.

Shogun-Machida 1 was a stand-up fight in the UFC. Shogun (a muay Thai stylist) spammed machida with low kicks the entire fight. Didn't faze him

The people you mentioned are Kickboxers AND boxers. Plain and simple. "Kickboxing produced boxing champions" would be a Kickboxer/Muay Thai fighter who goes straight from his sport into boxing and wins a titel. Kickboxers can't do that.
Yes they can. Saensak Muangsurin became boxing world champion in his 3rd fight. Do you attribute that to the little training he would have done in boxing, or the hundreds of fights in Muay Thai he had? Lomachenko who had 400 amateur boxing fights, trained in pure boxing from childhood, could only equal that record. Current boxing world champion Knockout CP Freshmart became world champion in 9 fights. Once again his muay experience obviously contributed heavily to his success.

Regarding "why are there no top 50 ATGs who are kickboxers?" -Simple demographics: The biggest boxing markets are USA and Mexico, neither of which are huge KB countries. The fact that Klitschko and Khaosai Galaxy did become ATGs despite not being from America or Mexico makes it all the more impressive.

LoL. Vitali Klitchko is nowhere near all time great.

Longer continuous title reign than Muhamad Ali, was ahead on the scorecards vs Lewis before the ref screwed him. ATG.

Lennox lewis was picking him apart last rounds. He would have no problem both beating and blinding that amateur

But by all means keep thinking that Vitali with that wide, back foot heavy stance, and arm punches is an all time great. He is not.

It's splitting hairs with this guy. Forget actual titles and accomplishments guys, let's just all start talking in theory and conjecture.

I'm not even sure what point spacetime is wanting to prove?

He's just butthurt that nobody will pat him on the back and tell him Shotakan guys could do good in Kickboxing so he's relegated to debating the minutiae.
