Any objective person knows Silva won because of a fluke stupid decision by Bisping.

Silva was getting his ass handed to him. Knocked out for half a second in both rounds 1 and 2. Was making Silva look like an old man up until the mouthguard incident. It's 90% Bisping's fault for taking his eyes off Silva as much as he did, especially when he saw Silva keep coming. But if he didn't do leave "fight mode" Silva would not have landed the knee that concussed Bisping. If this never happened, he would have been fresh in round 4 and 5.

THE FACT THAT BISPING WON ROUND 4 AFTER BEING CONCUSSED 1 MINUTE BEFOREHAND, is testament to the fact that Bisping was the one who deserved the win that night. Silva wasn't confident in counterpunching, just dodging. He's been like this since Weidman. Even the counterpunches he threw were misses. He had nothing for Bisping, he knew that.

Put it this way: If Silva instead knocked Bisping down in rounds 1 and 2, and was winning round 3, would he have let Bisping put his mouthguard in so he wouldn't get his teeth knocked out?

Silva knew he was behind and he knew that this was an opportunity he couldn't give up. Attacking someone looking away, because he doesn't have his mouthguard is the action of someone who knows that he won't win otherwise.

What the fuck is this shit? Silva LOST.

Edit: I see TS has nearly 650 posts in the last month. No wonder he doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about. No time to watch fights when you’re “busy” on Sherdog. But seriously, how can anyone

A, spend that much time on Sherdog

and B, spend that much time on Sherdog and not know Silva lost?

Wrong.

Bisping won.

Wrong again.

Bisping was already clearly looking back at Silva by the time Silva threw the knee.

Bisping won.

Being salty and biased doesn't make you objective, FYI.

How can you give somebody a round for something they did in the previous round? Stupid logic.

Anderson is frustrating, lazy and to be honest, pretty dimwitted

all played a factor in his lost.

Lulz dont pretend bisping got hit fair.. He was lookign away, and silva did a bitch move taking advantage of a clear problem with the mouthpiece.. Silva would NEVER have landed it if bisping wasnt in fight mode.. But yeah Bisping won anyway, which makes it even more impressive. Silva is done without roids.

Silva lost. I was saying he "won" because of his fans saying it should have been over. He lost plain and simple. I think I just screwed the title up. And I'm on a student work term at a micro lab and have nothing to do all day.

Yeah, your title needs some work, Op does as well. I honestly had no idea what you meant.

Nope, watch it again. Bisping had turned back to face Silva before Silva launched the knee.

lol you didnt get it.. He was looking away at the ref, then silva went for the attack and bisping looked back.

he would never be hit by that knee if he didnt look away talking to the ref. Silva took advantage of him doing that, which is super dirty.

Nope, it was Bisping playing dirty, not Anderson. Anderson had been applying sustained pressure, advancing aggressively as Bisping continuously backpedaled, desperately circling the outside in an attempt to escape. But he couldn't escape, Anderson just kept coming, so Bisping tried to stop Anderson's momentum and interrupt his flow in another way - by distracting him with the mouthguard horseshit.

Except the dirty distraction didn't work. Instead, the momentum Anderson had earned fair and square continued and he launched the knee.

This is what I saw as well, the mouth guard was an attempt to break Silva’s momentum. If there was a “dirty” move in the fight, that was it.

So what is to prevent Fighter A, who may be getting lit up by Fighter B, from just spitting out his mouthpiece/looking away to ref and taking away Fighter B's ability to finish the fight? This is how all fighters should gameplan - about to get knocked out? Taking a beating? Someone have you locked into a triangle? Just 'spit out your mouthpiece, look away to the ref' and have everything stopped while you regain your composure!

You do understand that a fighter can't just call time out whenever he wants, right? You understand "protect yourself at all times"? Do you know why they have those rules, Mr-there-is-no-such-thing-as-periodization-in-mma?
