Rejecting advances from a ruthless, barbaric dictator like Kadyrov is a death sentence for Khamzat and his family. The man has no choice.

Like TS, I genuinely want to know if the most exciting fighter in the UFC has his visa issues sorted. Let's tone down the bullshit.

I had a long drawn out post about this months ago, but it literally boils down to this. His palling around with Kadyrov and being a loud boisterous moron about it while showing off the hundreds of thousands if not millions in gifts he lavished with, attracted State Department attention.
I guess screaming "Allahu Ackbar I kill eberybody" on 9/11 certainly didn't help his case.
I can't help but believe he's going to just fizzle out eventually if he isn't allowed to fight in the US and I doubt the UFC actually wants a champion that can't fight in the country, no matter how "marketable" they may think he is.
Khamzat's own stupidity may have made him completely radioactive, but time will tell.

I actually remember that post, now that you mention it! It clinched it for me as the central reason for his inactivity.

The problem with Khamzat is that he openly pals around with a dictator, that's problably what's responsible for any travel issues he may have, not being Russian.

This. There are many Russians in the UFC that have been able to travel during the war in Ukraine. Khamzat chose to cozy up to a dictator who is involved in the war and has been sanctioned by the U.S. That's why he cant come here. You dont see Islam hanging out with Putin for instance.
