He is probably comfortable as head striking coach, but I'd like to see him in a few more good matchups. Anyone heard anything?

He said he's not retired, but he's not returning for the foreseeable future.

Just rewatched the Pitbull fight. I would have no problems with seeing that again.

He is a great guy. When i visited vegas extreme couture gym he took the extra time to hang out with us as we were from Europe aswell. Hope he does well in his future!

Semi-retired and probably not going to return due to lingering injuries. Busy coaching and learning to play poker.

Solid interview, although it's mostly about poker: http://www.newjerseycasinos.com/category/casino-news/ufc-kampmann-interview-201411260001/

I got a seminar from him in September, he just says he likes it in Sac town and Las Vegas, I would like to see him retire on a win though. He seems to take it well though he said something a long the lines of 'I have been close to getting a title shot, but when in a no 1# contenders fight I f*ck up", hard not to like him.

He said something about maybe coming back for a couple of fights but he mostly sounds done. I would like to see him fight other fighters in similar situations. I think if Kampmann came back it would be cool to see him fight someone like Swick at a catch weight or at MW.

I don't think Goldberg knows he is coach at TAM yet, he still mentions Duane Ludwig at least 50 times every time TAM member fights

Duane still corners Chad and TJ if im not mistaken.

Kampmann corners Faber, Joe B and Bucholz.
