Any info on Machida's diet?

It helps to stop keeping fatty/sugary foods at home; try replacing the sugary stuff with fruit, which is still sweet but much more nutritious. Completely cutting out junk food is tough, though, so a lot of people portion out small amounts of it, like filling little Ziploc bags with potato chips. That way, they can satisfy a craving for the flavor they really want it without eating too much when (it's hard to stop digging into a giant bag of chips, but the little bags have built-in limits), rather than denying themselves all the time until they go crazy and clean out a Baskin Robbins.

Hope this helps. Good luck to you, and remember that every bit of effort counts for something.

Maybe I simply missed it, but was there any info on how Lyoto managed to change in such a good way?

Low carbs of course, but anything more specific? Anything he used to like that he stopped eating?

Also, in general, when you're hungry, how do you compensate and get rid of the hunger without being unsatisfied by your meal?

I wanna take a good resolution for 2014, but always fail to stay consistent. I love too many sweet and/ or fat stuff. When I eat something healthy, I still wanna complete with something I like.

Please note that I'm not fat, 5.10 and 176 pounds. But I'm tired of being kinda chubby.

Any tips?

There is no magic solution to making yourself feel full when you're not eating enough. You just have to suck it up. There is a reason athletes get cranky as fuck when making weight.

The best advice I could give is to intake a lot of protein, it helps you feel full, keep hydrated, cut out white carbs / soda / candy / chocolate completely

Healthier foods in general make up less calories than sugar laden / fat laden foods, and so you can get more nutrients from a smaller amount of food.

For a while, you will find yourself really hungry all the time, but with a consistent diet it will become more manageable, and you will probably feel physically healthier after some time.

There is no shortcut however. If you are not willing to stay consistent you will never see significant progress. You can't eat healthy one day, and unhealthy the next, and expect to lose fat
