Any info on Machida's diet?

Maybe I simply missed it, but was there any info on how Lyoto managed to change in such a good way?

Low carbs of course, but anything more specific? Anything he used to like that he stopped eating?

Also, in general, when you're hungry, how do you compensate and get rid of the hunger without being unsatisfied by your meal?

I wanna take a good resolution for 2014, but always fail to stay consistent. I love too many sweet and/ or fat stuff. When I eat something healthy, I still wanna complete with something I like.

Please note that I'm not fat, 5.10 and 176 pounds. But I'm tired of being kinda chubby.

Any tips?

I dont know about Lyoto's diet buy about being hungry your body get used to eating less, your stomach actually become smaller so you are easily satisfied and is a fast process

The only thing i've seen machida say about it was he started a strict diet around a month before the fight. It's not his usual diet.

The hard truth is that if you're going to cut a lot of weight you're going to have to learn that you're going to be hungry.

Lift heavy objects. At 5'10" you should not lose weight. Man, imagine if Sherdog forum sections about these very subjects with FAQs in them that could answer most of your questions...

Watch your calories. Eat real food instead of junk. Works every time.

Calories in - calories burned = calories left on your ass.

This pretty much sums it up. But make sure to hit your daily protein requirements.

There is a lot more to this than that, unless you just wanna lose a lot of muscle mass in the process.

That's mainly it, man. Went from 190 in high-school to 150 in college from calorie-deficiency, heavy aerobic exercise, and plenty of chicken and tuna. Lost some "puffy" muscle sure, but kept most of my functional strength.
 
Check his instagram. He posts alot of pictures of what he eats. He eats a wide variety of things, but very clean diet it looks like.
