Stipe is smart taking some time off after getting ko’d, especially with the UFC struggling to book Francis. He will still be right there in the mix without taking another fight, so let some of these other contenders knock each other out of contention. His best option would still be the Jones fight, but since Jones is a pussy, a number one contender fight should be top priority. Gane, Lewis, or Volkov would all be fine fresh new matchups.
