I swore i would never be that guy but now my job is requiring me to wear an ear piece with our radio. They give us a POS wired one but the radios are compatible with Bluetooth so that seems like the best way to go. A few guys have switched over. I know nothing about them but any advice would be much appreciated.

My main concerns
-comfort (for obvious reasons)
-battery life (I work anywhere from 8-16 hour shifts)
-being able to hear through the ear while it's in
-I don't mind spending some cash if it's worth it

I love the plantronics voyager legend. I keep it in my ear all the time. The only thing it lacks is that it has a 7 hour battery life, so I have 2 and swap whenever I charge. No matter what earpiece you get, you'll have to charge at some point so having 2 makes sense imo.

I bought the refurbished one to save money but you can buy a new one for $20 more.

This charger is better than the stock one it comes with.

The annoying geeky guy in my office has one. Will have to ask and get back to you.

Whatever you get please be sure to hold your phone out like it's a hot plate of food and make sure everyone within 20 feet can clearly hear you

I'm a truck driver and if cost/size/fashion aren't big issues for you, I highly recommend this.

Just make sure you wear a sign that says “douche bag”on it.

I didn’t want one either and after trying a bunch this is the best bang for your buck

You can find them refurbished for like 28 bucks

Battery lasts forever

And it doesn’t go all up in your ear just kind of rests loosely against it

Yet sound quality is amazing for something this price

I’m on mine all day driving and in the house on work calls

Can’t live without it

And since I lose em all the time the price helps. Also they’ve survived numerous washes in the laundry machine

Says not available.

Why are bluetooth viewed this way? I don't get it. I think they're handy and convenient.
I'm sorry, unless you're at work using it, when you come into any place of business with it on, you look like a complete and utter asshole. That's just the way it is.

It's like that person that takes calls while waiting in line for something, but worse because they wear a stupid fucking thing in their ears that screams, "Look at me! I'm important! People call me!"

I listen to youtube and podcasts on it rather than walk around with my phone on full volume.

That's my plan. The one I got connects to two devices so I can listen to my phone and answer the radio as well

I ended up getting the Plantronics Marquee 2. $33 bucks on amazon. I run around a lot at work so the smaller ones seemed better

Here's the bestseller chart you're after:

Mpow is one of the Chinese rebrandings that is faring really well with Amazon customers:

Hopefully those still work in a month. Plantronics isn't really known for that.

Well if I break it at work they replace it. That's how I turn pouches full of harbor freight tools into pouches full of Snap-On tools
