News Antimatter to be transported outside a lab for first time — in a van

Article literally says it's being transported in a vacuum, being kept in place by magnet.

Goddamn I'm the only millionaire playboy blackbelt rocket scientist here?
And haven't we seen this plot, in comic book movies, enough to know this is not a good idea?

Transporting an enormously dangerous and valuable item that can be weaponized in a van across town...

I don't believe antimatter can even exist. I mean...if matter is something isn't antimatter just nothing? Boom....solved it.

homosapiens are doomed. speaking of which, it won't be long before people "accidentally" open portals like in doom, all in the name of "science"

here's to the marine to save us all

A year ago I rewatched a bunch of them on YouTube on my nightshifts. Nostalgia.
And it still holds up! There are some dated references and jokes, but a lot of it still holds up.

TO THIS DAY if I buy cereal I always check the riboflavin content!

My wifi router name used to be Krebstar 3000

Twas a pillar of my childhood and I'll stop dead in my tracks to talk about old Nickelodeon shows, specifically Pete and Pete and Salute Your Shorts. I like to throw out references from those shows from time to time to see if someone picks up on it, case in point.

They should try to make a bomb out of it. I hear antimatter bombs would be WAY more powerful than a nuke, but with no radiation. So it's essentially like a stick a TNT x5 trillion.

That theme song is one of my favorites.

I'd be down to slay some demon bitches 😈

This is just the story of an abductor and " the one who got away" rekindling a one sided relationship

Deep thought of the day...

If Anti matter is instantly destroyed when it comes in contact with matter, what type of container is it stored in?

If it is an anti-matter container, then what is that stored in?

And so on... and so on?

#ThingsThatMakeYouSayHmmmm?

Dude, it says it in the article the o.p. posted. Suspended in a vacuum, the particle is held in the suspension by high powered magnets.

Remember when the MCU actually made good movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Is anti.matter different than dark matter?

Yes. Antimatter is well understood. Dark Matter is still a theory relating to unseen mass affecting gravitational forces in the universe. As far as I know, either something like dark matter has to exist or our theories of gravity are all wrong.

CAWS has as much rewatch value to me as did the original Borne series when it first came out.

Pure popcorn fun, i could just put on and watch over and over when i saw them on, and did not have any other plans. CACW was also great but was steps behind CAWS for how many times i wanted to view it.

In that regard none of the other movies compared, even though i enjoyed some of them as much or more. But enjoyment factor on first or second watch does not always lead to wanting multiple viewings, as CAWS did.

Agreed. I must have watched CA:WS four or five times at least. The latest was this year, and I still enjoyed it.

CA:CW was very good in it's own right. Particularly RDJ, who does some of his best work in the entire franchise. His reaction to finding out that not only did Bucky murder his parents, but Cap knew and lied to protect him, is perfect. There's no snarky one-liners. Just grief and cold-blooded rage.

"I'm sorry, Tony. But he's my friend"

"So was I".
