News Anthony Smith vs. Johnny Walker is in the works for a UFC event in May 13

SBG Johnny Walker 2.0 going to split decision this fool. But seriously, LHW needs new blood.

Pretty sure Johnny is going to get starched, Smith is a pretty heavy hitter and Johnny is there to be hit. I could see Smith putting on one of his vintage dog shit performances, but I really don’t see Johnny as a guy who can take advantage of Smiths weaknesses.

I'm predicting Walker by easy decision.

That said Smith by KO is always a good bet when going against Walker.
 
Walker just doesn't have the chin required to be a legit top level fighter, especially fighting in a heavier weight class. I'm sure being a big ass 205er and cutting all that weight doesn't help either.

I'll take Smith via tko or potentially ko

No heart? Dude took an illegal knee and kept going. His teeth were falling out against glover and he didn't even consider quitting. I'd say he definitely has heart. Walker on the other hand definitely has no chin.
 
On paper, Anthony Smith should be able to win fairly easy. Analyst, decent fight IQ, has some grappling skills, and can hold his own in the standup. This is assuming he's on his A game.

Johnny Walker however, has a huge X-Factor that messes with the odds. He's wild, reckless, and has insane knockout power in all his limbs. Loves to throw spinning shit and perform high risk maneuvers. He's also been trying to dial it down recently and is on a 2-fight winning streak via finishes.

Makes for a fun matchup and that's why we love the sport of MMA. Anything can happen.
 
I remember Walker asking for this fight forever and Smit wanting none of it.

Also interesting since Jamahal called for a fight with Smith so I wonder who the next contender is.

Proper response. Smith is a real man for taking that knee and not going out like a bitch…..but under pressure he crumbles and curls up in a ball up against the cage and that is what I was having fun with.

Anytime you got a glass canon fighter you can't count on them. It's like betting on Overeem knowing a fart could ko him.
