I like Anthony; he had a very good career and some fun fights. But he definitely overestimated how good he was based on beating a few WASHED legends. And he lost me when he declared that he's not a journeyman like Neil Magny, especially since Magny has arguably had a better career than Anthony.

Smith annoys me so I'm not exactly defending him, but I read and heard that a little differently.

I heard it like not a direct swipe at Reyes overall talent level, but more like Reyes isn't so much better than Smith that Smith should be struggling the way he was, so Smith realized maybe he wasn't what he once was.

Could be wrong. It's a slightly less dick way to say it but still could have been better.

Dude is the most delusional fighter of all time. He is not at a Clay Guida level and he thinks he's Daniel Cormier. He has zero great wins on his resume. ZERO. Nil. Nada. NONE. And has lost 21 times.

Dude beat ancient Shogun/Rashad and a mentally checked out Gustaffson. Some big names who were basically husks when Smith fought them and he's too stupid to realize it. None of them ever even had a decent win after fighting Smith, that's how done they were.
