Nobody said he was a coward.Jon jokes Is great. I’m
Francis is such a coward that he fought the number one and number 3 boxing heavyweight in his first two boxing matches. Guys with more power than him .
Make it make sense.
Fact remains: 3 years no fight, Francis leaves, boom Jones is back.
Nobody said he was a coward.
He made a cost benefit analysis and decided a mega payday in boxing made more sense than losing to Jones in embarrassing fashion, which would've effectively killed his hype and potential opportunities.
Even his coach said that he had a difficult decision to make, because he had to fight arguably the greatest fighter of all time and if he lost, his pay went down drastically.
It has nothing to do with fear. It's business, no different than Jones himself fighting for his worth and taking so long to finally sign.
Lol.
I could also rewrite your sentence "Jones comes back from legal trouble and gaining weight to transition to heavyweight, Francis leaves the UFC immediately."

Yawn. Been debunked many times. Not my fault you can’t read
Why wasn’t he Francis first defense instead of Gane?
Maybe Jones felt he wasn’t big enough.
Clearly the right answer is Francis quit the ufc because of money . Just like jon jones told Dana white to release him and pay him more money,
Jon SAID HIMSELF you dumb fuck the Francis fight is not a 8-10 milly fight, it’s 20-30 milly.
What’s Francis afraid of? Losing by submission? Lol big deal. Is he afraid of losing? He lost to stipe already.
How much does Dana pay you to swallow his load? What about jones?

I urge you to look up what "debunked" means.
Francis quitting MMA instead of fighting Jones is "reality"
Francis QUIT the UFC instead of fighting Jones.
What was Francis afraid of?

Sure
Francis turned down the highest pay ever to fight Jones and quit MMA.
Who else was Jones going to fight?
Derrick Lewis?
(Who Francis lost to)
The #1 HW Gane?
(Who Jones had to fight when Francis quit MMA. Strangling him within seconds)
Not fully, but yes.So losing to jones would kill his hype..? Lol this is a dumb take. He already lost, to stipe and beast, his hype is still there. Makes no sense
i don't think fear is the best way to describe it. None of these guys are afraid to fight eachother.Maybe you haven’t, but many have said he was afraid lol. How you gonna be afraid of someone in your own sport. Going into boxing with 1 professional fight against one of the hardest hitters with no experience is Insane
Lol please don’t ever have aspirations of being a manager. No wonder why you are broke as fuck.
Why in the fuck would Francis resign a deal to fight Jon jones that would lock him into an 8 fight deal essentially limiting him to the ufc for the rest of his career for money that isn’t guaranteed if he loses?
So him getting 30 million guaranteed for boxing to set himself up or resign with the ufc, only get paid on potential if he wins, for less money. Hmmmm
He offered to do a one fight deal, ufc said no. He offered to fight Jon in 2020, 2021 and 2022 and Jon “wasn’t ready”.
You’re a moron. Stay broke
He could have tried to fight Dominic reyes who beat jones but Jones got gifted the decision

It's more that this is prize fighting and fighters, especially at the level of Jon Jones / Ngannou will be fighting for their worth.
That's why It took until 2022 before Jones finally came to an agreement with the UFC.
And also why Ngannou was in discussions for over a year before finally leaving.
Jones is arguably the greatest fighter of all time, which both Ngannou and his coach knew very well. Everyone who understands the fight game knows this very well. It's only the fans who are wrapped up in their hatred of the man who deny it.
Ngannou even said that he felt Jones would do better at HW than he did LHW, because there is a huge gap in the technical skill level and well roundedness between the two divisions.
Ngannou wasn't afraid to fight him, but he was definitely concerned what would happen, if he did lose to Jones.
All of the opportunity he's built himself up to have would suddenly go up in smoke. He'd be making 1-2 mil a fight and locked down to a contract, where he wouldn't be able to do much more than that.
I think we can all say, he made the right decision.
But the bottom line is that it wasn't Jones who held up that fight when they truly had the ability to make it.
