Vitor best striking form came on his TRT run, before that he was a guy with some good simple offensive boxing and amazing physical attributes and instincts to take advantage of that. Guess who else fits that description? Good ol' Arlovski.

And the point in my post is that Chin is relative to division. Nate Diaz has been KO's by a 155lber but lasted against Rory. Once you cut the weight it's all relative.

It was uneventful untill Johnson cracked Arlovski's jaw after the bell, after which he fought the whole fight on survival mode so that's not a good example to gauge johnson's chin.

Also throw in the fact he regularly spars with Tyrone Spong and used to regularly spar with Overeem and despite Overeem's and Rumble's beef, there has been any rumors of Rumble getting dropped by Overeem.

Used to spar with Cung Le as well. He's well traveled against some of MMA's best strikers.

I questioned Jon's chin too in the earlier days and then he showed his tremendous chin in several fights since, so I was wrong. Johnson hasn't shown this yet so same routine here. What's the big deal you mangina?

In the fights Ive seen him in, he has a good chin. He just is susceptible to the RNC for some reason. Very Chael-triangle/armbar like. 80% of his losses are by RNC, so he really has to avoid ground transitions because sometimes I think he might not know what to do down there too well when he's being the hunted.

Arlovski isn't a superior striker to Vitor. Once you cut the weight you have to deal with the skills of that division. A LHW Rumble doesn't get wrestle fucked by Koscheck but a 170lb Rumble does.

Arlovski hits harder than Vitor.
