He went into depression and started battling an eating obsession, NOT Munoz's walk around weight.
Terrible reference
You completely missed the point. Walk around weight is irrelevant and Sherdog's obsession with it is stupid because some fighters let themselves go and put on fat more than other fighters. Does it not make a lot more sense to only talk about the weight fighters are when they actually fight?
This is most likely what he was doing. And eventually that starting weight crept up, he wasn't losing as much weight during camp (or more likely he didn't have the weight to lose, it isn't like he came into weigh-ins with a roll of fat on him) and had to dehydrate more & more weight off. He was trying to hold the same weight from when he was 20 years old.The phrase "cut from" is so misused. To me it seems like "welterweight" Rumble started camp at 210, finished camp at 190, and then massively cut to 170 after already drained so that was pure water.
Now, lhw Rumble probably starts at 230, ends a bit above 220, then has a much healthier cut to 205
Hes gotten a lot bigger since then. I bet hes walking around at at least 230 now.
