It's lowkey repulsive this public shaming of fans who love this sport and didn't find that fight exciting. I mean guys like MM, who is getting overated to seven hells for whatever reason almost a decade after he stopped fighting legit competition, I mean, you'd know this what the public sentiment about him on Sherdog was when he was actually fighting, it's not 1/100th of what it is now let's be honest, and Gordon, who doesn't have the guts to fight without roids it looks like nor the balls to step inside the cage unlike CM Punk, is acting like they created the sport itself and reinvented it like MMA version of Issac Newton and if other people don't find what they found exciting, must be heretics, I mean casuals.

Franky, it is true after 20 years of watching the sport, being a casual isn't such a bad thing. Maybe time to start watching other sports for being a casual, which wouldn't be a bad idea to be honest, probably seen anything and everything there is to see anyways. If they say so, I guess we must stop watching this sport and start watching lawn bowling instead.

But oh boy, how sad is that some people feel the urge to appeal to other grown men in the so called position of experts to justify what they found or not found exciting? What is this? A catholic church with 10 commandments on what fights you are supposed to find exciting for MMA and time for some sermons?

Fluffy's ground game is unstoppable, he subbed world class BJJ champion Rodolfo Viera while still fresh (was only the second round). I can't imagine how Khamzat would be able to implement him game on someone that casually submits BJJ world champs and has the gas tank to go 15 rounds.

I remember that fight. Vieira was literally the polar opposite of "fresh". He was gassed to fuck even though it was only round 2 because he was all BJJ Muscle and no stamina

The second I read Guys like MM who is getting overated to seven hells of whatever' I stopped reading. You arent even a casual. You're worse than that. You're the kind of weirdo dick sucking fan that says whatever is cool to say in the moment, you have no real opinion.

So unstoppable that Viera took him down 10 seconds into the fight, immediately took his back, then mounted him inside a minute.

Fluffy got manhandled on the ground. He won because he badly hurt Viera standing and he was basically out on his feet before desperately shooting for a takedown. Viera was so hurt he didn’t even attempt to fight the submission.

Chimaev finishes Fluffy inside round 1.

Was he rocked, gassed, or both? Seemed gassed when watching it live. But yeah Viera fell apart in that fight after an early rush.

All props to Fluffy on that win, but why OP hatin on him tryin to get paid now?

TS what does this wall of text have to do with Fluffy wanting to fight Khamzat for the belt?

Little bit of both. Mostly rocked though. He got rocked to end round 1 which sapped his gas tank some, but he still had the energy to to take Fluffy’s backs again in round 2 before getting shaken over the top.. Then he got blasted with a bunch of strikes which caused him to shoot a desperation double leg, which was easily stuffed so he just laid there and let Hernandez sub him.

Not boring in real time, because I wanted to see if Khamzat gets a finish, DDP escapes and the striking. All title fights are interesting.
Wouldn't rewatch for entertainment or show it to anyone. Tbh almost never rewatch for entertainment anyway. Usually just to remember what happened or to check how fighters do something.
