Another UFC 200 Thread....

After the past couple weeks of fights the possibilities for UFC 200 are starting to shape up. Dana said recently that Connor will be on the card and he is medically cleared. BJ Penn.com is reporting Tate/Holm 2 is in the works as well. Anderson Silva and Mousassi have been tweeting they want to fight each other at UFC 199 or 200 which would be a solid third option after the two headlining title fights. Remember, because of ppv time restrictions the UFC wont book three title fights on the same card so a third big name non-title fight fits the build. Toss in Adlo/Hollaway in case someone in the main event get hurt and we have the best card ever. The UFC is also still trying to push Paige so toss her in as the opener.


Main Event: McGregor/Edgar
Co-Main Event: Tate/Holm 2
Silva/Mousassi
Aldo/Hollaway
Vanzant/Markos
 
Conor vs Aldo 2
RDA vs Diaz 2
Frankie vs Holloway
 
That's a norm PPV card

McG lost the sting of absolute main event. Edgar isn't 200 main worthy
The girls should drop to 3rd, not Co worthy. Only 1 girl fight on main card, if any. Needs more Lawler.

I don't have a better one, so you win. Guess we lost some of that big star power

Aldo against any other fighter than McGregor is a waste, especially if Conor is already in the card. Might as well headline a Fight Night card.

Markos/VanZant seems odd for a main event given that they're both coming off of a loss. Maybe KH vs KK?

This would be far from a normal PPV card. Connor is still a mega star. Anderson, Aldo, and Edgar all still main event every card they are on. Plus the women's title fight. All these folks are headliners.

Typed out a couple paragraphs trying to break it down and thought, maybe this is all we have left for a 'record setting PPV' . A card of people who lost last fight.
