I must say from watching his interview with Ariel, he is a real jackass as I assumed.

Colby's mouth is really the only interesting thing about him. People compare him to Conor, but Conor was actually exciting in the ring. I'd say he's more of a Chael, in that he needs to extreme trolling to offset the dullness of a stiff fighting style.

I strongly disagree. Conor was fresh, original, unique, and relatively authentic. Colby is none of the above. Literally nothing about this is unique or authentic-feeling.

Although I guess it depends what you define as "popular". I would argue, just in terms of people talking about him, he's already very popular. Lots of threads,etc.. But I think of popular as likable, and I don't believe he'll ever be popular in that regard.
