So last night I watched the Conor McGregor documentary "Notorious." It's on Netflix if anybody else is interested. Does anybody remember the story of Aldo pulling out of the title fight due to injury? Dana said Conor was sleeping and he woke him up to offer him another fight, to which McGregor responded "They're all the same" and went back to sleep. The documentary exposes this as just another Conor hype job by Dana. The documentary shows Dana telling McGregor that Aldo is out, shortly after he gets up. They discuss another fight, but never does McGregor say the iconic line.

We're here to help you through this, bro.

Kavanagh told him that, not Dana. Dana came after. I'm pretty sure that Dana doesn't creep into Conor's bedroom while he's sleeping.

That story never sounded legit. At the time Conor fans would have believed he eats dinosaur steaks and bangs those blue things from Avatar. You should have just assumed ts.

Maybe he said it off camera? Maybe TS needs to get out more, damn, imagine being so obsessed you remember every word Dana said from 3 years ago.

I think you have this mixed up? It was kavanagh who claimed to have awoken Conor after receiving a call from Dana:

Dana is a promoter. He says whatever it takes to sell fights. Embellishment is literally his job. Stop taking it so personally.

Ah, I misremembered that. However it's still a lie from both Dana and Kavanagh. The documentary shows Conor receiving the news from Dana.

He doesn't. Kavanagh told him first.

You see child, documentaries are edited in a way to present a story.

yea, it was probably made up, no surprises there - its expected the UFC is lying - if you try to call them on it, people wonder why you're wasting your time ha

either way, Conor is like a lot of fighters who will step up when the moment is right, he is legit in that way

Hyperbole definition, obvious and intentional exaggeration.

Or does he?
