I just finished all the current chapters. Pretty decent. It's got some interesting plotting going on. I'd say the biggest weakness is that the action isn't quite as dynamic as it could be. The paneling tends towards the pedestrian and there are parts that are too text heavy and don't flow well. But it makes up for it with a compelling setup and generally solid artwork with a flavorful style.

Still gorgeous to look at but my god is it uninteresting.

Its a character piece where the main character is really uninteresting. Its like the same story telling beats are used in every episode. On episode 4, but this isnt a binge watching type show at all.

It can only stay interesting for so long.

Wouldve dropped it, if it werent for the fact that the animation, and just composition is all A+ level.
 
2nd season of Kakegurui will be on Netflix on June 13.

Bruh Vilet Evergarden is one uncomfortable show. The :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:philia in the show is insane. The fuck is this shit.
 
I just saw that Shin Angyo Onshi has been rebooted as a webtoon. I'll have to check it out, the original was solid.

Yeah a Griffith chapter but it was needed to see how his kingdom is progressing.

I’m curious on what Griffith was thinking about at the end. Link to the moon child maybe?

If we get 2 or 3 episodes this year I’ll be happy.

Different studio. Madhouse would've been the goat if not for their habit of dropping good series like OPM and Ippo.
 
New Berserk chapter was excruciatingly slow for the most part, but the theory confirmation at the end was worth it.

Griffith and the Moon Child are the same being, that was explicit for a while, the theory was that during full moons the Moon Child takes over and suppresses Griffith.
