Anime and Manga v40: Repeated Thread Necromancy Edition

the animation for this season is horrible what a huge let down

Not horrible but average

Thing is the guy from first season called on every favor he had in industry and gathered a dream team from animation point of view

Thats the rumor i heard

No I don't. Believe me, I want to but the suspense of watching it unfold is better imo.
I tried reading the The Promised Neverland manga and didn't care for it. I got about a volume into it and it just didn't do anything for me.

The manga does some bits better than the show, and I read the manga after finishing the first season, and it seems like the author had only beats after the first
escape
, the rest of the manga doesnt stack up. The next arc after the first was decent, but its spiralled into mediocrity, its picked back up now but its still not as good as the first arc.

I am an Attack on Titan fan, and anime watcher only for the time being, but it feels like that author has planned out everything since the beginning. Twists and turns for days, TPN isnt that. The author planned for 1 arc, and has some ideas of where to go but it isnt as good

So he George R. R. Martin'd?

I just noticed Ultraman on Netflix. Loved the live action when I was akid. Is it worth watching?

The scope and comlexity of TPN is nowhere near GOT, but honestly I think not every great story needs complicated twists and turns that were thought of a the beginning of the story. Its pretty tough to write like that.

Id definitely recommend the manga though, and start from the beginning because its slightly more spooky, and feels more like a horror than the show.

On a side note, Running with the Wind is a pretty good anime. Feels like a weird start, but I enjoyed it thoroughly from a couple episodes in, and a satisfying end. Proper character development in that anime aswell. 8/10.

The pacing is weird aswell, sometimes its too fast, other times to slow, and it feels like there are a lot of things that could be improved and yet the show is gorgeous at times, and man the characters develop nicely over the show.

Looking forward on the next Production IG sports anime. Hope they start with Haikyuu's season 4.

Huge fan of Haikyuu but hated season 3.

10 episodes of 1 games is with break each weak was garbage. Hope season 4 is different.

Idk, I kinda liked it. It gave their match an epic feel without being a "freeza vs goku" 5000 episode bs. Haikyuu is one of those rare animes were I couldn't stand the manga. It's a hot mess, imo with the characters all looking alike and the panels all over the place it's hard to follow the action.

Haikyuu is a great sports anime, but not up there with, say a Major or Ippo.
Im watching that slime anime you recommended, on episode 1 [half way] so far. Just wtf.

Waiting on Jojo to come out.

Anybody watched Log Horizon?...

The author got caught with tax evasion and was actually sentenced to prison (dropped down to home arrest) but he paid his dues and will be starting that back up again.

So a 3rd season should be in the works soon. I can't wait. I really enjoyed that anime a lot.

Loved the first season, missed the second though, was busy with something or other. How was the second season compared to the first?

It will be. No real spoilers below but if you have zero interest in what the general storyline for S4 will likely be just ignore it.

There's a national team training camp, as well as a training camp held by Shiratorizawa's coach for other young players. After that they start the nationals and the matches don't last forever like Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa. Depends how many eps they go though.

solid although not as good as the first season. I want to know where he is taking the story to and he hasn't answered that yet.

Shin's not here right now. Would you like to leave a message?

Have you checked out Jigokuraku, it’s also known as Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku. It has 50 chapters and I’ve liked it so far.
I've just started this one. Damn, that got really fucking weird right quick. Ok, ninjas and criminals fighting...BOOM chimera monsters!

I knew it was going to be weird by the way the floral corpse showed up on the boat. Hope you like it though.

Hajime no Ippo Refs are the worst. Mashiba should destroy Iga but these stupid headbutts and elbows are slowing him down.

I think he’ll overcome the fouls and send a message that he is ready for the world.
