His early fights were good but then it got stale...

Not saying Ippo's recent fights were any good all... They were garbage as well but I really wanted to see the developed Dempsey Roll but he threw a kicker that he was punch drunk and became fully retired.. Pulled a fast one of us.. That fucker.

What a saga!

I though the Chimera ant story arc was going to be cookie-cutter and I didn't expect much, but it's nothing short of amazing.

The battle between Chairman Netero and The King...




It just proves that "There's levels to this..."

Now that it's nearing the end of the story arc, when I look back at when Chairman Netero challenged the King and got him to go into the tomb... It was a master-stroke. The part when he made the heart symbol with his hands and placed it over his own chest and did that "I gotcha sucker!" look

Yeah, I just started a few months ago, and it's already one of my favorites. I'll get started on part 6 of the manga once this season ends, partially because I don't want to wait two years for more JoJo's, and partially because part 7 seems to be the consensus best part, and I want to get to that as soon as possible.

Also, Joseph>Josuke>Giorno>Jotaro>Jonathan.

The art style is still a bit off putting to me, but I have only heard good things about the story. I'll bite the bullet one day haha

Funny enough, Araki is actually the first mangaka to have his work featured in the Louvre. The art is one of the best parts IMO.

That said, the first part (the first nine episodes of season 1) is the worst part by a pretty big margin. Still good IMO, but it gets so much better.

Now when I think about it...

The Chimera Ant Arc is one of the best arcs I've seen in any anime. I was rooting for the ants by the end, lol. The character arcs for the Royal Guards, and ESPECIALLY for Meruem were brilliant.

I haven't watched anything that's come out recently (or much anime at all really) in the last few months, but I did watch A Place Further Than the Universe over the weekend.

Watch it.

Even if you think you won't like it, you're probably just wrong. Not only is it the best anime of last year (at least out of what I've seen), it's the only anime I've seen in years that I might consider a 10/10. And I'm including Hunter X Hunter in that (even though they're about as different as possible).

I'm 8 episodes in to Jojo.

I really like the scene where Baron tells about his past and learning about Hamon. It might be one of my favorites ever.

Yes it does I doubt you'd be able to go on youtube to find Roundabout without a JoJo reference it's almost as bad as Carry On Wayward Son and Supernatural. Hirohiko Araki seems to be into prog rock alot of the characters in the show are named after a band, song, or musician.
