Miyata crosses the line.

How is that line still there? I guess Takamura redoes the line every time he does roadwork to let the message sink in to Ippo.

I watched the anime years ago and never enjoyed the Chimera arc for some reason don't know why. I just recently started watching the dub and the Chimera arc is brutal like you said. I'm really enjoying it. I can't wait for Gon vs Peto. I don't remember exactly what happens but I know some crazy shit goes down that's all I remember.

I think my favorite thing about Hunter X Hunter is that even though Gon and Killua are strong they don't power them up like so many shows like this do in order to match whatever the enemies strength level is.

Chimera arc would have been better if they didn't let it drag on so damn long. What a waste of screen time in my opinion. Just hoping one day it comes out of haitus.

I'm pretty much finished with the arc now. Your right they extended it to much but it's not nearly as bad as I remembered. I think I was bingeing the show hardcore and was just getting burnt out at that point. Then again I did that this time and still really enjoyed it. Even the part where they overly explain the battles wasn't bad at all I remember hating that part.

Also started "That one time I got reincarnated as a slime". They really should have thought of a better name I thought this was just some goofy comedy anime or something. Wasn't even thinking of watching it until I saw so many people talking about it. I'm like 8 episodes deep and it's been really great.

Is it me or is the new Sword Art Online Alicization booooooring as fuck?... the story and action are lame and the characters are absolutely forgettable.

The author basically created one good story (people stuck in a game) and then he was like shit, I'm out of ideas, let me find more and more contrived ways of cramming this identical scenario into as many story arcs as possible.

I haven't seen the new one so not sure what it's about but isn't the second one about someone who can kill people in real life by killing them in game and has nothing to do with people being stuck in the actual game?

My main issue with SAO is they keep alluding to a bigger overall story at the end of each season but not really going further into it enough.

I did a binge too and I guess I was a little burnt out as well. If they ever announce coming out of hiatus then I will consider rewatching the entire thing again.

I've considered watching reincarnated as a slime, but I don't know. I watched half the the first episode and just stopped. I'm sure it is good since it was highly ranked series. I just started watching Dororo, which is pretty good so far. Also watching Radiant, Hinomaru Sumo and Psycho Mob 100 season 2. I'm just waiting for some of my favorites to come back (Attack on Titan, Gintama and of course season 2 of One Punch Man!). I enjoyed Globin Slayer too. I should probably just take a break though since it can be such a waste of time. I'm sure the more I search for good anime the more I will find since I'm not too picky.

I really hope Hunter X Hunter comes back but even if it doesn't it had somewhat of a nice ending.

Haven't heard of Dororo sounds interesting I'm going to check that one out. Radiant seemed pretty good, I started it just haven't gone back to it yet. I'm like 5 episodes behind. Haven't seen the Sumo one and probably wont. Psycho Mob I always wanted to checkout just never have.

Should be finishing Goblin Slayer at some point this weekend. I'm enjoying it hope they come back with another season.

Nice. Psycho Mob is pretty good if you like OPM since it's the same writer. Not in my top favorites, but still fun to watch. Maybe wait on Dororo until more episodes are out. Personally I like it when all the episodes are out or near the end of the season. I just hate waiting, lol. At the same time I intentionally refuse to watch any popular established anime with tons of episodes. I don't have the time to be addicted to a long series. That's why I've never watched an episode of Naruto, One Piece, Bleach or Fairy Tail in my life. I'm willing to bet I would like all of them since I love action/fighiting/samurai type anime

lol that's weird. So you want the Anime to be done or close but you hate when they are to long. I prefer when an anime I find is really long cause then I'll watch nothing but that anime and all the other shows I've had to wait week after week for are really far along and I have to catch up.

One piece, bleach, and fairy tail I never watched. I caught a few episodes of fairy tail and it seemed pretty good just didn't stick with it. My daughter loves it. Naruto I loved but they ruined it with the fillers. If you know which episodes you can skip though it's still really good.

There's a Humble Bundle that has the first four volumes for $20(regular price is 12.99 or 6.99 on sale). I STRONGLY recommend buying it as the online scans don't have the updated artwork or the Observation Diaries from Veldora and the anime is missing some details and there's actually a good reason for the name.

One Piece is amazing, but Good GOD is it long. If it's something you wanna watch with your kids though that's a really good one since you'll have more than enough material for you to watch til she's in the academic upgrade(ES>MS>HS>College).

So I dropped Hunter x Hunter after Gon vs Cat lady

It was good and I hope they continue it at some point

I looked into the manga and it looks kinda lame with that dark continent crap

I really would just rather have Gon and Killua doing shit instead of all these other cans.

As for new anime I've been fucking with Yakusoku no Neverland

I been aching for a good horror anime and this one looks like it has potential

But it also might turn into complete shit. Never know with these things

You’re missing out dude.

Rihan has one the best abilities in the series.

Yeah it sounds weird when you put it that way, lol. It's mainly because of priorities. Kind of the same reason why I don't play video games. I will enjoy it too much and likely have poor time management sacrificing sleep or neglecting other much more important priorities in my life if that makes sense. Back when I watched more anime I had more free time at my disposal. Maybe when my kids get older and I have more time I may watch one of them.

Same feeling about anime as JBS. Like, I can plow through SO MANY manga chapters in the time it takes me to watch single episode. There are some series I'll pick up and watch here and there, but it's actually quite rare.

I liked the chimera arc up until the major battles started and they felt the need to have omnipotent narrator narrate every action and every inner emotion of every character as if it was an audio book. I hated that aspect of the chimera arc.
