Anime and Manga v38

I'd be completely fine if a member of the crew died at this point...just to slim the cast down a lil bit there's just too many characters and Oda isn't going the Naruto route of just ignoring a bunch of them...Frankie and chopper can totally kick the bucket lol

It makes me kinda sad seeing how Fairy Tail turned from something decent to literally just "friend will win every MC or Semi-MC fight" I know it was shades of that from the beginning but holy Christ that's all it is now.

You can chose subtitles in the video settings. It will get a worldwide release and will be dubbed into english for sure.




You should check out some other anime if you only watch DBZ.

Can you recommend some? I love a good action flick but I also want a solid and well written romance arc, that isn't rushed. Something that combines both? Fantasy and magic, or cyber tech?

that's a toughy. with romance and action is mostly an either ... or kinda deal.

Xam'd lost memories and Eureka 7 are probably what comes closest. Both steampunk shows that are pretty similar.



Other great action shows with at least hinted romance would be FMA: Brotherhood, Gurren Lagann, Bacanno or Angel Beats.

If you like Romance check out Makoto Shinkai other movies. 5cm per second and The Garden of Words. Might be a bit corny for some people but I love them.






Also if you're into DBZ, you probably will also enjoy Attack on Titan ( 2. season coming this spring ) and One Punch Man.

Thanks for the suggestions, I am on Crunchy Roll, so I will look those up. Attack on Titan sounds interesting, I will check it out. I love pure action.

I guess my likes/ desire for combo of romance/action are things that carry over to my likes in other genre's. I truly have no idea why or how this odd trait developed.. I liked Buffy for that reason, and I liked FF8 as it had a VERY slowly developing romance arc to it, but it was clear from the outset..

I assume the recommendations above are all subtitled? If so that is ok, as I hear subtitles are closer to the original dialog then English dubs.. Case in point would be Season 1/2 of Digimon, the English version left a lot of racy shit out.

The animation will look a bit dated but the original Berserk anime would meet your criteria.

New Chapter is out.

Good stuff , like how Brookes' part of this arc has provided humour, a lot of moving parts , wonder how it all pans out , Straw Hats might take down their first Yonkou and they aren't at full strength.
 
Seems like things should finally start moving along starting with the next chapter.

I hope not. If Big Mom can be taken down by the group gathered for this arc then she is a massive let down.
