Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to pick them up.

Black Clover is formulaic as fack. Definitely a must watch. Both gifted mages would have a connected uber heritage reveal that would turn the other evil. Temporarily. Nakama power will make him see the error of his ways.

Ok, caught up on Dr. Stone.

I'm liking it a lot, actually.

Synopsis:
One day, Ooki Taiju was finally prepared to declare his love to his crush, Yuzuriha, and when he was finally about to do so... the world ends, with everyone petrified by an unknown cause. During thousands of years, Taiju holds to his determination while being trapped in stone, thinking about Yuzuriha.October 5th, 5738 AD. Taiju awakes and gets out of the stone. He finds that his friend, Senkuu, also survived, and they decide they are going to rebuild civilization from zero together.

From the writer of Eyeshield 21, Riichiro Inagaki, and the artist of Sun-Ken Rock, Boichi, comes a science fiction adventure series in Shonen Jump. The series debuted in 2017.

The first arc is about how Taiju is revived by Senkuu and their initial attempts to cure the petrification disease. When testing the cure, they are attacked by wild animals and use their cure to revive Tsukasa, a wild kid from their school. Tsukasa defeats the animals with overwhelming strength and befriends the simpleminded Taiju and boy genious Senku. Eventually, Tsukasa and Senku have different opinions on how to remake society; Senku want's to use science and technology to remake the world and save everyone still encased in stone, while Tsukasa want's to give the world a fresh start and eliminate the corruption that was left behind in the old world.
The second arc is better, and it's where the manga is currently in the middle of. Senku pursues his plan to create a science kingdom. He discovers a tribe of people who were descendants of people that somehow revived long before he discovered the cure. He decides to recruit followers in the primitive tribe by demonstrating his know-how. From there, the issues play out like episodes of "Primative Technology", where he uses his scientific knowledge of chemistry, geology, botany and physics to introduce the stone-age tribe to metallurgy, electricity, food and medicine. It's really nerdy and fun.

I watched one episode of Cowboy Bebop on Cartoon Network English dubbed, and was surprised they allowed the word "shit". What else do they allow?

A lot of violence. Curse words are common in more mature shows. Depends on which version you’re watching too. The edited pieces will be toned down.

So...about that cliffhanger in the latest Attack on Titan.

To everyone that suggested I get a subscription to Crunchyroll I thank you. BEST MONEY SPENT EVER! I am watching Cowboy Bebop with my daughter, and she loves it. Now I am about to start Fate/Zero, but I must not be looking correctly as I am only finding it with the English Dub version. I recall that dubs are worse then sin, so is there a link to the subtitled version? When I search it I only get the dubbed version.

I remember what they did to Digimon with the English sub.

Any other series I should get into? I hear Attack on Titan is good.

I heard it was dark, so duly noted. I wont watch it with her. Any other ones that are good for both of us?

The next step after Cowboy Bebop should probably be Samurai Champloo. Other shows you might like: Food Wars, Ace of the Diamond, Gungrave, Kingdom, Last Exile, Space Brothers.

Dubs can be really hit-or-miss. Some are really well done, others suck. I haven't watched any of the Fate stuff so can't give an opinion on it.

EDIT: Food Wars in particular would be a great choice to watch with the kid. If she can handle Bebop she could probably handle the rest on my list as well. AoT...maybe not depending on age. AoT (besides being massively overrated IMO) is really violent and nihilistic.

What is AoT? Is that Ace of Diamond?

Regarding dubs, I prefer to watch Subs over dubs, as they seem to be the most accurate and uncut.

Thanks for the advice on other shows to watch. Soon as I get through with Fate, I will start those as well.

I also noticed that Crunchy also has live action shows as well. Any of those any good?

I have seen that mentioned before, can you give me a brief synopsis.

its by the same creator that did One Punch man, its about a highschool kid with psychic powers, hilarious, amazing, great characters and very different and creative art style

AoT=Attack on Titan.

I've never seen any of the live action stuff. And, full disclosure, I've never seen half of what I suggested either. I have, however, read the mangas that they are adapted from and have heard that the anime versions were also good.
