Anime and Manga v33

Thought on HSDK one reasons why this final arc is a bit of a let down is because I felt like the stakes were higher when Kenichi fought against Shou Kano. Yes both fighters had their beliefs but not to mention both were also vying for Mius heart and the ending to that arc was well thought out. For the finale things feel rushed and years of Mius and Kenichis build up in there relationship is not used and I think that is a key aspect of the series

Probably already been posted, but the Hellsing:OVA will be coming to Toonami this Saturday, fuck yeah.

Just watched A letter to Momo, the newest work by the director of Jin-Roh. Great movie. Japanese mythologie is a thing that never that never gets old for me in movies.

Have you watched mushishi?
It has to do with the same stuff and is a beautiful series.
Some people drop it cause it's slow but it's episodic so the series actually moves pretty fast.

Saw it a year ago and loved it. Reminded me of Spirited Away in many ways. And on top of Mushishi I'd check out Kyosogiga.

Edit: New Koe no Katachi

Finally he's awake!

is Bleach anygood?

To give a more nuanced response: the first major arc called the Soul Society arc (covers the first 52 episodes and 180 manga chapters, IIRC) is decent enough. It's not revolutionary, but it's got some good character designs and solid action. Unfortunately after that things go downhill fast and hard. Some of the recent stuff from the series is absolutely awful. So if you're interested I'd suggest watching that first season and then making up your own conclusion. Because whatever you come up with is going to be better than the garbage the author has put out since then.

Thanks for the input, i'll likely just stick to One Piece and FMA for now, but I am looking for good action animes.

You might want to check out the new version of Hunter X Hunter if you haven't already. The manga's a solid action series and many posters seem to enjoy the recent adaption. It's by the same author of Yu Yu Hakusho, another classic shonen series.

And if you don't mind reading instead of watching you should definitely give the series Tower of God a try.

Yuyu Hakusho, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Fist Of The North Star, Fate/Zero and a bunch of 90's & 90's OVA's. Like seriously, there's a fuck load of good action OVA's. Bastard for example.
