so they build her up the whole series then she dies instantly. Her bankai was fucking pointless. Kubo seemed like he was going to become relevant for the first time in a while but no he shits the bed once again

OK it's going on 3am here so many I'm just completely missing it...I got no idea what the fuck her bankai was supposed to do Sai or Heavyarms elaborate please.

If Unohona was so goddamn strong why the hell did she just stand by and let so many shinigami die when the Vanden Reich invaded, you know why because Kubo is an idiot that's why

you know I think this shows how bad of a writer he is. We were talking about characters like Vegeta who are defeated by the villain, which shows how strong the villain is. In this case it makes no sense because Kubo handled it so poorly.

How the hell are we supposed to know how strong she is if she has never fought? The only conformation we heard was like 2 pages in the whole manga when one of the captains talked about her.

If he knew what he was doing he would have showed her AT LEAST one time fighting a villain and defeated said villain with ease. But no the one time she fought she was defeated and killed, sounds pretty powerful to me

So many captains in this manga have had numerous fight scenes. Even the few captains that hardly fought showed that they are amongst the most powerful shinigami's in the 13 squads. If Kubo was smart he could have handled this like the head captain. Essentially never fought a full on battle until the final battle where he died but we knew how ridiculously powerful he was based on small battles we saw him participate in. (even if there was only 1-2)

Bleach's release pissed me off this week even more due to the fact that One Piece is on break meaning I can't shake the feeling of another troll chapter from Kubo with the Showdown between Doflamingo and Aokiji for One Piece.

I think I said that like 6 months ago or so myself.


Also, I know one complaint of Naruto Shippuden has been that it has lost some of the humor of the first. However, I contend that the humor has been placed elsewhere. Like Kakashi for example in the first couple episodes after Naruto and Sakura get the bells he is explaining something and the two of them run off to get Ramen:
"Man, back in the day they used to react to everything I said. It was so cute....."
 
Eh Naruto the series wasn't really all that funny to me to begin with , so the supposed drop in Humor didn't bother me for shippdden but I was annoyed with how inconsistent some of the are could be , for instance I was pissed at the style they used for when Naruto in his 6 tails release battled pain , it looked like a mess
 
There'll be a whole lot of Naruto fans squealing at the potential of all the Hokage's taking to the battlefield.

The Old Man ordered her to stay in the barracks during the invasion, and she obeyed. This is deja vu, this is the same thing people, not saying it was you, were posting after it was revealed to us that she was the first Kenpachi.

As for what the fuck her bankai did, I have no idea. I have a sneaking suspicion that she didn't actually use it and that Kenpachi was dreaming, or hallucinating, that whole sequence. At least I hope so, or perhaps it's an sensory one similar to Aizen, Shinji, and Tousen.
 
keep on hearing the kaidou hype on one piece lol is he stronger than shanks or Whitebeard?
 
Ugh to me that just feels like fucking sloppy writing and fuck man another issue I have is trough over goddamn 500 + chapters there wasn't even that much of an interaction between the two characters now suddenly the last few weeks they have known each other for since before she became captain of the 4th division , it feels like pulling things out of his ass
