Boxing is like like top 5 at least. What boxing lacks is a superstar guy who people like. Unfortunately Mayweather is playing the bad guy because its the only way he can make money. Charisma really does wonders for sports.

What would give boxing a shot on the arm in the US is a dominant emergence of an exciting young Heavyweight but unfortunately that guy is already playing football as a linebacker or basketball as a power forward

RRR is an excellent boxing manga its not too long and is a solid read

Oh yeah I also hated how at the end of the Woli fight they said that Ippo got lucky that he was facing Woli at this stage , way to fucking discredit 800 plus chapters of development for Ippo , shit ending

For me it was the bs punch that was the turning point of the fight. I've thrown thousands of body shots and my light body shots (I hit very hard) would never do that crap that Ippo did.

His trilogy against Gatti is legendary.

I didn't really start watching boxing until I first decided to take a look into Ippo. Glad I started to watch it when I get the chance.

You need to watch Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo 1 its a fantastic fight with a great finish

That's one way and I know the heavyweight that could be that person. Don't worry every 10 years or so boxing gets a superstar. I don't think I have the charisma for that but I do hope I'm the guy who kicks his ass.

God I hated that set up as well so fucking nonsensical

Well shit as long as it infuses life into the sport dream big man , aim high if you feel you got the talent

I wasn't referring to myself when I spoke of heavyweights. I will be fighting at 130-147, maybe 125 if I don't die.

Let me get this straight are you saying you want a go at the possible money making high of the future so you want a piece of Adrian Broner then ?

Definitely but I don't think Broner is going to be the superstar I spoke of. I don't want to talk myself up to high but I got the talent and the trainer to get me there. I just need to get to Vegas which given my situation is difficult.

I like the confidence man , hopefully it works out though I am interested as to who you have in mind ? Donaire ? Mikey Garcia?

You don't see much of me cause I spend my time in the striking and grappling section. I've been training for years, definitely a nerd and manga reader. Just don't post often. With Broner, I personally believe it will be easy if I can handle his shots. See the thing about him is he is very gifted like Mayweather but he isn't as smart. Not only that but he has never fought someone as fast or as hard of a puncher as him before.

I believe it might be Andre Ward. As for the other guys its hard to say, they are sadly too small.

Yeah bro good luck to yah setting lofty goals , like it

Thanks man, let me ask you don't you train jiu jitsu? Your name sounds familiar, if I recall correctly you post in the gear section?

I train in a little bit of everything meaning I take part in an MMA class. Lot's of focus on boxing/Muay Thai though at the gym I go to and wrestling. Some BJJ but a lot of the BJJ in the MMA class we do is "in this position, this is how you get out of side control/half guard/mount" type stuff.

Have been compared to Wladimir Klitschko because of my jab which made me feel very happy.

I do kendo as well (none of these people are me, I do have videos though of some of my matches if anyone is curious):

Before boxing I was training for MMA so I'm very familiar with all of that. Thats cool you train in kendo. The closest I got to that is Kali.

Back on topic with Manga, anyone got predictions for what's going to happen in Naruto?
