Well it is still Kenpachi after all....not exactly the brains of Soul Society...atleast he's started to realize that he's atleat passing out maybe he'll put 2 and 2 together next chapter.

Did you lose a bet Greg?

Well we all seem to be into some weird stuff around here...SO thought I'd ask before jumping to conclusions ^^

Wasn't planning on reading Naruto this week until I read this thread and found out it wasn't focused on Naruto. Hopefully we get to see these four fight, and kill Naruto, at some point.

One Piece, well the last few pages were the only thing I found interesting.

Well were not exactly sure what Orochimaru's intentions are now at this point, but it's a possibility that he could attempt to do that, sasuke is ass-pull no jutsu strong but against 5 (including Oro) of some the strongest ninja's in history he wouldn't be much of a match even with Jugo and Suigetsu there.

I think Orochimaru is curious to see what Sasuke's ultimate decision will be.
 
Latest Toriko is out and its looks like this will be a fun battle arc

With the shit he's accomplished how can you not say Luffy is even MORE insane thatn Law? Idiot yeah, but it takes an INSANE amount of balls to walk to a noble and punch him in the face knowing full well they can sick a physical god on you. On another note, I just finished catching up with Space Brothers and GODDAMN was I tense.
 
You know one thing I don't get after this week's Naruto?

They went to the Uzumaki family shrine to get the Shinigami mask right? And the thing looked decrpid. Now, I know Naruto, much like Sasgay, is the last remaining member of his clan but still, considering what his parents did it seems weird that at the very least the 3rd didn't try to keep the place "up and running" so to speak instead of falling into disrepair.

I read the chapter a second time a few hours ago and that kinda pinged in the the back of my mind as well, I guess because, like Suigetsu said it's so far out of the village no one bothered anymore and probably forgot, I guess the 3rd had better things to do then look after some old shrine, hell I doubt Naruto even knows it exists....I can understand why no one gives a fuck about the uchiha one though.
 
i have a few theories on that

1- it could simply be a cover up so people think nothing is there
2- it is not in the village so no one tends to it
3- Remember that the Uzumaki clan is not from Konoha, they run Uzushiogakure a different hidden village but they were on good terms with Konoha. Uzushiogakure is no longer around and the neither is the Uzumaki clan so no one can tend to the temple.

All those make sense obvs but it seems that the people really SHOULD know what Naruto's fucking dad did to save their village.

Which brings up a situation of conspiracy theory from me.

Have we heard anything up to know about memories being altered? I can't remember BUT, is it beyond thinking that there could be a genjutsu involved someplace? I would figure even though he has the Fox Demon inside him most people probably at least SHOULD have known or seen the similarities between Naruto and the 4th Hokage.

Just seems odd that NO one is friendly with him outside of Iruka and then later Kakashi, Sakura, and Sasgay to a point. Even BEE ended up with SOME friends in his village.

maybe it was like Kick ass or Truman's World where there are always people near by watching to make sure nothing gets figured out.

No but honestly i think it was just for plot purposes to keep the reader guessing. Then we go OMFG HIS DAD IS HOKAGE NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Even though everybody knew about from day 1 like Tobi/Obito

Either that or they kept it a secret because being a hokage's son naturally brings about a lot of enemies. Also it's possible that only higher ranked Ninjas knew who his dad is(was) while everyone knew about the fox inside of him

Yup, and I don't think a mere simpleton can activate the Haoshoku Haki the way that Luffy does and also it took him only six months to actually get down the principles of the other Haki forms from a Genius like Rayleigh.
 
some anime reviews of the stuff i recently finished.
All of them ( except School Days ) probably get a second season this year.
